I hope klinnsmann works out, but the next coach needs to be someone that advocates this style. We're never going to be a team that dominates possession so find a great defensive coach that plays a counter attacking style.
Love those two coming on together. We need that speed and Clint is the only guy we can trust to finish consistently.
Brooks and Chandler, solid to at times good Bundesliga starters, but just can be dreadful for us a lot of the time. I still have high hopes for Brooks because he's still very young for a CB. Alvarado being fast tracked into the "A" team was a terrible JK decision.
His few truly good moments for the USMNT are overshadowed by how horrendous his bad ones are. Definitely young and has potential but those major bad decisions are the shit that make people lose faith in your ability to do your job and lose you PT.
We've always had coaches who set the team up to chase the ball, absorb pressure, and counter. Even Jurgen's teams have largely done this when it counts, in spite of his ballsy rhetoric about being proactive and controlling the game.
If we could add one more Yedlin, one more Dempsey, and one more Bradley, I think we could be a real contender. Need to get on our cloning.
I'm watching in spanish and I don't understand spanish Can someone explain what happened when Bradley had the FK from about 30 yards and a Panama defender just ran up to him and blocked it? Did they play advantage or something because Bradley kicked it again?
Bradley had a bad tourney but that was an okay PK. He's the only one who put it with pace to the side.
