What's funny to me is that when the women wore neon there's a statement somewhere that is synbolized something specific to Canada. I don't see why they would make it a USA thing now

Found the Nike quote. It was in relation to the blue on their cleats and not the yellow. So I stand corrected there...
it was tongue in cheek, in regards to the black/navy and electric yellow colors being chosen. I was pointing out the absurdity that if that kit is real, Nike didn't select those colors at random but conducted focus groups and other market research. obviously it was business decision as to why Nike went with 2 colors which have no affiliation with the USA on any level.
