That's pretty much how it's been for awhile. It's one of the main reasons that the whole "build a tall ass border wall" is beyond retarded. You will essentially cut out very cheap labor that no one else wants to do and then the upper classes (at that point everyone) will complain about either a) lack of fruits and veggies or b) their cost increases because of labor cost increases due to others having to now do the jobs.

The argument you'll get is if we cut back on and reform welfare, disability, and unemployment, people would take those jobs bc they need the money. Now I don't know enough on the subject to really comment on it, but that is the argument I've heard brought up before.
