i usually mock the "well you just haven't had a good one" take most people have but this is a crazy take
I was a swimmer growing up and could eat like 2 bagels with a stick of butter or a large pizza at night and wouldn’t gain weight Times have certainly changed
i saw it well after it came out and was floored with how good but bizarre a movie was with that cast. tilda swinton profusely sweating is one of the best performances i've ever seen.
Basically all bagels are good. Whether it’s from the sleeve bag from the grocery store for $2 or some artisan monstrosity for $12 at an NYC influencer have.
I guess in keeping with the spirit of this thread, my unpopular opinion is that Tom Wilkinson was as good in and as important to Michael Clayton as Javier Bardem was in No Country for Old Men. Anton Chigurh is an iconic character but Arthur Edens should be too!
I remember seeing Michael Clayton shortly after it came out on DVD and I don’t really remember anything else about the movie outside of thinking it was very good.
El Tiburon, I have great affection for you and you lead a very interesting life but this is the opinion of a bag man, not an attorney
Someone at work last week brought in bagels from some local bagel place and it was quite possibly the best everything bagel I had. Made a Panera everything bagel taste like trash.
Best bagels I've ever had. They've been in business 100 yrs and still hand rolled and baked in wood oven. https://fairmountbagel.com/events/
Deli (another song I wouldn’t have ever heard without controversy) might be one of the worst songs ever made. Absolutely zero talent required to write/perform. At least she’s giving hope to OF models everywhere. Get enough weirdos to inexplicably obsess over you, and people will let you do whatever you want.
I think her spot on Karma is straight trash and detracts from the song gotta disagree on this one though. Just listened to Deli for the first time and my head was involuntarily bouncing the entire time. That beat slaps
Coincidentally the one part of the song she had nothing to do with. A good beat is just that though. It can stand alone. But it also takes quality lyrics and performance to make a good song. And if a song is that bad with a good beat, it tells you everything you need to know about the “artist.” Also, the controversy is that the girl dancing on the counter is apparently only 16.
The series Shadow and Bone on Netflix is far superior to Locke and Key. I don't like fruit in my dessert. Nuts are ok, but I apparently have the palate of a 6 year old, so no fruit in desserts for me. Zaxby's, Raisin Canes, and Guthries' chicken fingers and sauce all taste exactly the same. If you're talking about their chicken fingers and main sauce anyway.
After watching the US and Nigeria outplay Sweden and England for 120 mins and lose in penalties which are a coin flip I think there should be a system like boxing where there are judges who decides who wins the match after 120 mins. If the vote is not unanimous then it can go to PKs. Can lead to great drama and insane corruption and avoid watching matches end with shitty pks.
Judges in a sport run by one of the most corrupt organizations in the sports world. I'm sure it would be fine.
