This sounds super weird, but I'm apparently fucking sucker for songs that bring choruses of kids into this type of music, because I really dig both of these tunes.
Heard a song by these guys on one of the Tony Hawk games and I always wanted to check out their shit. Fast forward a few years later and found this on my brother's Ipod, gave it a go and fuckin' fell in love with this album. However it's irking the fuck out of me that I can't find the sample that they used, but that's the least. Awesome track, solid album.
Saw Rock and Roll HOF'er Booker T Jones Saturday night. Talk about a real interesting guy that has done a lot in the music industry. This was a great song I didn't know before the show.

this girl has a song on fifa that i liked so i looked her up on youtube and proceeded to listen to about everything she has out. really good, surprised she isn't more famous (unless she is and I'm just clueless)
Just got back from a couple local bands. One is alt country/folk/bluegrass type music, wasn't bad. The second band was this pair of brothers who train in Europe with some Flamenco/classical guitar master. Was pretty damn good, and got me thinking about some old shit my dad had us listening to when I was a kid. Which is what I come here to post. Ladies and gentlemen, Al Di Meola.
I've got it cued up for a listen. I've also heard that it's better than Blade of Ronin which I must admit tapers off in awesomeness after the first few really good tracks. Lookin' forward to it and hearin' EL-P's earlier beats which I've heard differ from what he does now with Run the Jewels and his other shite.
