I would have shown yellow, but can't argue the call either way I suppose. Fairly soft to send a guy off so early.
Ox needs to accept he's just a winger a lot more than Theo does. Not sure why he tries to play through the center, hasn't worked with him since Milan.
Perfect performance, 3 points and showed we are nowhere good enough. The form of some players is a lot more concerning than transfers though.
They were equally pathetic. Wasn't really a game for Theo though, can't use speed with how Newcastle were playing.
This would have been a good game for Wilshere. Once they packed it in we needed someone to dribble at the middle of defense. Also (not a newsflash) Alexis may be the worst passing great player in the game today. It's astonishing sometimes.
How we played today with no #10 or plan, he typically gets a lot of great chances and that often leaves a lot to be desired though.
When there's space, he's a good passer. When things are clogged, he seems to believe he can pass it through people.
Going on what...6-7 years of no product? My sentiments aren't on account of just this shitty performance. his takeaway moment as a gunner will be leaving on a stretcher with torn ligaments taunting Spurs. Useless fuck
International break should hopefully get Alexis calibrated, not sure Santi is capable of scoring anything besides a penalty anymore.
Yeah I am in the anti Theo camp as well. Truth is he is somewhere in between useless and adequate. I think he actually offers less than Giroud overall. Coming back to that beautiful bastard, I really hope Danny isn't dead. Giroud cannot trot out there every week.
Girlie...ha. That's what "Giroud" autocorrected to... Anyway, Giroud is going to do what Giroud does. Score 15-20 goals and squander about 937 chances.
That other Lyon dude we were linked to, Fekir, is going balls deep this year...including a hat-trick today. Too bad nothing came of that.
Usually the only thing Giroud can be counted on for is scoring against Newcastle and he's even lost that. Knowing we won't sign a striker is beyond depressing and I'm really worried about Mesut's injury knowing our med team. Been very few 3 points I've felt worse about unless this causes a miracle and we make a couple signings.
Read and heard in more than a few places where people feel he is better than Lacazette. From when I have seen him play he plays behind him as well, so wonder if he could play up top full time?
