I use my old android phone and cast the screen to my TV via the chromecast app then just play the game through the live extra app. Works just the same as having a chromecast plugin built into the app. Annoying to have to do it that way but it works.
Would love to see Ramsey's heat map for this first 35 minutes. He's been on the left or the furthest forward more often than not. Completely abandoned the right wing.
Crap defending, and I don't just mean Gabriel. You could see that goal coming 2-3 passes before it happened. I would like these kits if they were just solid with white numbers/trim and didn't have all the other ridiculous color blocks on them.
Trusting Wilshere has done as much damage as Arteta-Flamini as the DM depth. Santi was like 10% vs Tottenham, wasn't good last week, and played with a knee injury today. 2 points out of 9 when we should have gotten at least 6 or 7.
Did you guys see the article on Fifa possibly giving Arsenal a transfer ban? it will be the same transfer ban Barcelona received. Real Madrid, Atletico, Chelsea, some Serie A teams, and some Bunlesliga teams could receive a transfer ban too the article is in Spanish http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2015/11/27/primera/1448635755_087011.html
Ramsey in central midfield with Arteta, Shift Ozil out wide to cover Sanchez and insert Flamini at the 10. Might be better than before, honestly. Ozil can distribute better than anyone but Flamini adds a real goal scoring threat that you guys could use behind Giroud.
On a serious note though isn't Walcott supposed to be back any day? Ox just returned yesterday as well, right? Arsene will duct tape some shit together as always and you will be fine, as much as it pains me to say.
Was scared Alexis tore it so that's good, he'll be back for City. Of course we'll get other injuries before that.
It's not doomsday like having to go to Bayern and win, but Olympiakos' home record in the CL is pretty fuckin good. They don't lose much there. Plus, we want zero to do with Europa League.
I'm concerned by the quote from Wenger that he played Sanchez because Sanchez told him he was good to go. Sanchez would have to be paralyzed before he'd say he wasn't fit to play.
We just got back from playing a match in Azerbaijan against the "Barcelona of the Caucasus", trust me I understand.
Just got home to my christmas sweater. It's glorious but I should have ordered a size bigger, gonna need to lose about 10 pounds for it to fit well.
just spitballing here as I know Arsene would never make a change this radical, but with it looking like Alexis and Santi are out for at least a few weeks and Kos is going to be ok, would we ever look at a lineup with 3 at the back? something like this - ---------Giroud--------- Ox------------------Joel -----Ramsey-Ozil------ Nacho------------Hector ----Gabriel-Per-Kos---- or when Theo is back - -----Giroud---Theo----- ---------Ozil------------ ----Ramsey-Arteta----- Nacho------------Hector ----Gabriel-Per-Kos----
I like it, but like you said something we won't see with Wenger. I was thinking 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 (4-1-4-1) but with all the injuries I have zero clue who he puts where. Honestly started entertaining 3 in the back and stopped because of Wenger. I do like it though, in theory. My only hope to this point is that we see some Jeff and Iwobi. I mean Yaya's first career start was against Bayern. To me going three in back is less risky than that while also building up my false hope. I just want to see where Jeff fits. Also not covered but I assume most saw, Chambers got a game in with the U-21s at CDM last night (pretty sure it was last night). I never read how he performed which I can only attribute to him giving the ball away repeatedly.
Ramsey gets his wish, time to see how much of a fluke 2013 was. Ramsey-Flamini/Arteta with Ozil and Giroud was our setup for pretty much the whole first half of that season.
I'd love to see 3 at the back...but A) Wenger and B) then we'd have exactly zero central defenders on the bench ever (Chambers doesn't count...no one knows what his best position is going to be).
He was pretty shit this season anyway from what I saw, at least Flamini gives you a goal scoring threat.
