I agree, the track around soccer fields kills the atmosphere, but I believe they're planning on getting rid of the track around the Luzhniki and bringing the stands closer.
I can't wait to watch the russians throw bananas at the teams from africa fucking skinheads. I love that Blatter blames the English Media for asking questions. The Aussies, English, and Americans need to team up and take these ass clowns down.
It's absolutely beyond me how anyone could possibly like Zidane at this point. Guy is one of the biggest fags in the world. No wonder Inzaghi had to sleep with every woman Zidane ever knew.
Inzaghi has some serious swag though. Getting millions for playing soccer whilst you arent even trying or all that talented
Re: World Cup Bid Decision Thread about Russia cause I called it. Never thought FIFA would fuck both USA and England. But Qatar has huge money. Qatar will be hot. But its going to be awesome watching games and hanging out in that part of the world. I might actually go to this WC. Not as nice of a set up as Qatar. But still going to look great on tv. Bottom line is that is horse shit that both USA and England got jobbed. These world cups were paid for and not won fairly. But getting mad about the bullshit FIFA is pointless. What I do know is both these locations are going to be 1000x better then SA.
It will be the only thing left when the huge asteroid hits, and it will float out into the universe for eternity. And Putin will have won, like he always does.
This didn't take long. The English FA have already found out who betrayed them. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1335518/World-Cup-2018-FIFA-betrayed-England-bid-named.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Of course that faggit Jack Warner was the biggest culprit. The Confederation of North, Central America part of CONCACAF needs to break off those free loading Caribbean fucks and form our own federation, and just watch those island countries soccer federations go bankrupt.
FIFA allows the Africa Cup of Nations to be played every other year in January, so this doesn't surprise me. But, there'd be an absolute uproar from the club teams and rightfully so. You'd definitely hear talk of domestic leagues breaking away from FIFA's umbrella if this went through.
So I was banned for 2 days and a lot of this might have already been said 2018 in Russia will be great, Russia is a different twist to it and is a burgeoning soccer country. Arshavin was there and he might be the biggest Russian star now, and by 2018 I bet there's a lot more Russians in the EPL like him. 2022- I broke my closet door in anger because of this. I've been to the UAE and Qatar. Qatar is like the New Jersey to the UAE's New York. It sucks. It has nice beaches though but they're fucking miserably hot. The whole place is. Its like being in Arizona's desert and having it be religiously oppressive. At the same time, FIFA and its sponsors are going to make BANK. No booze in Qatar so Budweiser and others are going to monopolize the alcohol game. To add to that, Qatar is one of the more westernized Arab nations so they might let shit go crazy for a month or two, similar to a lot of parts of the UAE. The one big part that's an issue is that it's near Saudi Arabia and a lot of terrorists, but security will be insane for this. To me, This is going to fucking suck, a lot more than South Africa when people bitched about Vuvuzelas. The one thing that will help the US in the long run for 2026 and 2030 is that we can rationalize that Qatar is in Asia, and it might help deter China from getting the cup in 2026. But I doubt it. FSU girls soccer would beat Spain
But seriously. I dont even know why its even debated, everyone knows that at least half the voters were bought. Hell, I think the secondary votes of some voters were bought. The Fifa has been untrustworthy for years but its really growing closer and closer to a mafia
oh i own one and love it, plus it became white noise after like the first day this is true they're getting out of hand, qatar shouldn't sniff a wc bid but because they are gonna pay them a shit ton they ate that shit up fsu is good
Oops how far away is Ferrari world from Qatar? Would be if both F1 and WC was going down in Qatar it would become a must go trip for me
its in Abu Dhabi so its basically closer to Dubai if I went to Qatar I'm going to Abu Dhabi and Dubai beforehand
Qatar is trying their hardest to get on the F1 calendar. with that said, no way they race the Qatar race in the heat of the summer. It would either be early season or late season race when the temps are cooler.
That second and longer quote is not from Obama. It's from Roger Burden, who is Chairman of the English FA.
Not in the traditional terms even thought it was fairly weak compared to the other bids. The governments was asked to make changes to tax laws (bribes). Most did agree to those changes. Obama needs to go back to watching out for elbows on the basketball court. We knew going into this shit that it was a dirty business and chose to try and stay clean (perception) and it burned us.
England mad: "London Mayor Boris Johnson has revoked FIFA's free hotel rooms at the city's exclusive Dorchester hotel during the 2012 Olympic Games." http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/05122010/58/london-2012-mayor-cancels-fifa-london-2012-rooms.html "FA chief executive Alex Horne has said he will push for reform in the World Cup bidding process." http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/05122010/58/world-cup-fa-boss-ask-questions-fifa.html
If they can get the german FA and preferably the spanish FA to join them they'll easily get it done. England and Germany is where the WC makes the most of its money and theyll be able to pull other countries with them. If their FAs just denounce the FIFA and start their own WC the players in their competitions also wont get time off for the FIFA WC making that tournament worthless even when the hit in participating countries is limited
yeah it wont happen but unless it happens my Netherlands will never host a WC whilst we would be an awesome host
It has been going on for years. This is not anything new. England knew a year ago that 13 votes could have been paid for. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1335723/England-World-Cup-bid-chiefs-shock-confession.html
This is what I was thinking in regards to my question. I don't get why "traditional" soccer powers would let FIFA live if they aren't the ones benefiting from the corruption.
this would be interesting http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_by_ives/2010/12/did-concacaf-betray-the-usa-2022-bid.html#more
Yes it will be interesting to see Israel qualify in 2022 and also will be interesting to see how openly gay players like Cristano Ronaldo will be treated
