So the old thread got deleted. Selected so far: Stadium: Wembley Stadium (England) GK: Lev Yashin (USSR) LB: Cafu (Brazil) Sweeper: Franz Beckenbauer (West Germany) CB: Bobby Moore (England) RB: Roberto Carlos (Brazil) LM: Garrincha (Brazil) RM: Johan Cruyff (Netherlands) CM: Bobby Charlton (England) #10: Zinedine Zidane (France) Second Striker: Pele (Brazil) Greatest Strikers: Gabriel Batistuta (Argentina) Eusebio (Portugal) Just Fontaine (France) Gary Lineker (England) Gerd Muller (West Germany) Ronaldo (Brazil) This is harder than it looks. Muller and Eusebio were insane but didnt play that many World Cups. Ronaldo is the all-time scoring leader with 15 world cup goals. Also Fontaine scored 13 in one tournament.
Re: World Cup Dream Team (Second Striker this week) Btw the Argentina hate and England biased did not select Maradona as the best #10.

Re: World Cup Dream Team (Second Striker this week) Giuseppe Meazza. why? because he is the best player in Inter history. Pele wins
Re: World Cup Dream Team (Second Striker this week) Pele won easily last week. This week is the greatest striker, goal scoring striker that is. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/17052010/58/world-cup-2010-dream-team-greatest-striker.html
Romario was beastly. I cant believe they didnt include Paolo Rossi in this list either his 1982 world cup was really good.
Yea they also missed, Van Basten, ButragueƱo..and on the midfield you also have to throw names like Francescoli, Ardiles, Teofilo Cubillas...
