Hearthstone was having a deal on the game wherein if you leveled a WoW character to L20, you would get a free card. So I jumped in a leveled up a Warlock (always been my favorite class). But now I'm kinda itching to play again for a bit longer than a few days. You guys are on Earthen Ring? Anything I need to focus on playing to bolster the ranks? Ok, cool. I'll check it out. I played a rogue to max level, a guy named OldRoy. They are pretty fun. Get your sneak / invis all the way to max and walk around in rival cities. I killed a dozen people or so in The Undercity before they got me.

at one point, apparently you could order pizza online through Everquest 2, so Blizzard's April Fools joke was "Pandaren Express," which allowed you to order chinese food for deliver in-game
If anyone is interested... After my 10 days were up, my plan was to get a sub. So I wake up one afternoon (I work nights) and my Google Wallet has an alert that $xx.xx was spent at some WalMart in Indiana while I was asleep, bringing my account to zero. Naturally, I made some calls. I got my money back, but had to destroy the card. I'm waiting on my card now and should sub in a few days. I asked my wife to let me use the family card to get a sub and she just gave me that look wives give their husbands. Moral of the story: Don't get married.
So, I got my sub last night and bought WoD. Spent all night playing, going from lvl 90 to lvl 92. Fuck, leveling is slow so far. Also got my garrison and I'm confused as fuck as to what to do. What should I build? How do professions work? What's with all this new currency? (Apix crystals or some shit). I tried reading some guides, but it seems they just jump right in. I don't even know what to build. Looks like Lumber Yard and Trading Post generate resources, so that sounds good. I think. So, any help as to what to do would be appreciated.

damn. i am so behind. i have a few 90 characters, and one at 94 i think. but 110??? i had no idea it went that high.
It doesn't yet. Will in August. I was in the same boat. You just have to think of it as another game now with a lot of the same mechanics and lore. I started a Paladin, and zerged him to ~level 60 just running dungeons. It was insane. I remember doing quests and exploring the world and taking a week to get to level 20. Getting to level 40 and FINALLY getting you mount. Dinging level 60 (level cap) in Stratholme like a boss. Now, you can get level 60 in less than a week. Hell, when you purchase the expansion, you can create a character, press a button, and jump him to level 90 in an instant. Level 100 when the new xpac comes out in August. The end game is the ONLY game now. But, the end game has some cool shit. Garrisons will blow your mind. I'd resub, if for no other reason to experience the New WoW.
There is a tremendous amount of lore and fun in the questing at all levels. I've seen all of it, and the end game content (raiding with friends) is what keeps me there. I love new expansions. The feeling of new lore and new zones gives me that vanilla feeling.

Blizzard is going to be shutting down all legacy servers soon because they are going into the legacy server business...
Really hope Blizzard opens some up, but still going to play on private servers until they do... too much fun
