Earthen Ring is listed as an RP realm. If enough people complain, Blizzard gives you a free name change...
Just got out of the movie. I really enjoyed it. It was a solid entertaining movie. That said, I can see why others would not like it.
Exact same sentiments. Just saw it and I was thoroughly pleased. I enjoyed it, but I think because I enjoy the lore of Azeroth so much. WoW has gotten to be kind of silly, imo, but the lore of that world is really well done. My wife, who doesn't play WoW and never has, was kind of confused at times and some of the Easter eggs / fan-friendly drops were totally lost on her, so she didn't enjoy it as much. Paula Patton is hot as fuck, but she didn't seem to hold her own in the acting department. The guy that played Medivh was really fucking good, though. Spoiler When the rode across the bridge at the beginning and there was a murloc in the water watching them and it went, "Mrggglglgl!", I lol'd. The first look at Ironforge and Stormwind was just fucking cool as shit.
Spoiler it and tell me what it is. I really enjoy the lore but it is so deep, I guessed I missed something. Or PM me.
Spoiler Big changes were fel magic corrupting Medivh instead of avatar of Sargeras within him, and Guldan killing Durotan instead of his assassins. Half change was King Lane asking for Garona to kill him when it was Guldan's spell that made her do it...
Spoiler Yeah, my son and I talked about how they really upped the importance of Fel magic in this. Medivh does change into a literal demon during the 'exorcism', I think that was supposed to be Sargeras, they just kinda skipped it because of the plot hole it would have opened (oh, it was really this greater demon that we never even talked about because it would have made a 2 hour movie a 2.5 hour movie). I didn't know about Gul'dan not killing Durotan or the Garona thing, though. Thanks!
More Garona please. After sleeping on it, my largest complaint about the movie is the editing. The scene transitions were really sudden and felt like it messed with the flow of the movie at times. If I had to do a RT scale I would have to say 75-80% -10% for editing -10% for some of the human actors being poor choices. (Ben Foster as Medivh and Travis Fimmel as Lothar KILLED IT though. Loved their portrayals) The orc motion capture and voice acting was top notch. Durotan is the star of the film imo (Lothar being a close second)
graphics were incredible i enjoyed it for what it was gf was miserable and bitched about half the time
Movie surprised me. I'm a fan and played WoW so I loved it but can understand why others in Hollywood hated it. Special effects were amazing. I understood most of the lore but it has been awhile so I went and researched it again. Duncan jones had a great explanation why things were changed and how he handled it because he knew non-fans wouldn't understand shit. It makes me want to play again
Since I quit wow before Mists, I decided to go with a Panda Monk. And went horde because I have always been horde(actually not certain what race my hunter was when 70 was the max..I believe I was a blood elf tho) Monk is fun. Focusing on damage right now and at level 15. Not going to jump ahead and actually level through. For shits and giggles to see if I'm motivated to play this through and when legion comes out.
Really looking forward to Legion. Dungeons and huge, visually appealing, and feel epic. The lore and questing is engaging and doesn't feel grindy. Even the dailies at end game. One big draw back is that gearing for raiding is going to be a huge time sink. It has a vanilla feel. Professions are in a great place, they can make you tons of gold. Especially scribes.
So whats the status of TMB on wow? I'm looking to join up with folks since my old guild has disbanded. Do I need to swap realms or can I be in a guild on another server? If not, can I run instances with groups on other servers? My 100s are horde on Uldum, looking to take my Druid back to Alliance though.
stylee plays horde on ner'zhul i think naganole and myself are on earthen ring alliance. friedskillet has like 5 characters in our guild but his attention span is short.
i played my lock a little bit last night. affliction is major dot management but kind of fun. for a single target fight you might have 8 dots to pay attention to. not much burst but the potential for big damage is there.
I don't really plan to raid in Legion. (that may change) What should I do now with 7.0 until the invasion starts? I haven't played since 6.2 release.
Just checked in and im still trying to figure out all the changes. Deciding whether to main my lock and pally in legion but im alliance on kel'thuzad
Maybe consider using it on Earthen Ring. I was in a similar boat. The guild seems pretty active. Warning: Going from Horde to Alliance is weird as fuck.
Also the other way around. I was alliance from launch until WoD. Swapped all to horde to play with family and friends, then they all quit My 100s are priest, hunter, rogue, and Druid. I mainly play priest and Druid as healing is most fun to me.
did you quit your monk? my elem shm got mouthfucked, and then i went resto and no one could touch me in pvp was nice
nah windwalker will still be my main. i just got to the point where i couldnt really progress him without doing mythic raids or hardcore pvp (lame)
if you have a level 100 warlock you could have a lot of fun in random battlegrounds at other people's expense
