So you are an teenager? Last time i saw him it was a private event and was nothing but prolific 35 and + aged folk
Kacey Musgraves's music is top notch, too. She's already one of my all-time favorite female musicians.
Saw him with a buddy back in like May or June. He was 25 and me 24 at the time, and we were far and away the youngest people there. Had couples in I assume their 60's "sneaking" us drinks all night because they thought we were under 21. We kept trying to tell them, but they weren't having it. Free drinks and an excellent show from Clint Black
Such a great set of lines. An' this killin' time, is killin' me Drinking myself blind, thinkin' I won't see That if I cross that line, an' then they bury me Well I just might find, I'll be killin' time for eternity
Tootsie's had their 55th birthday bash last night. An embarrassment that some of them have been considered country artists. I did see Confederate Railroad though. That was cool
How is Chris Stapleton winning these awards? His best song reaches #46 on the charts, Sam Hunt has 3 #1's and Chris wins Newcomer of the year, and album of the year?
Only turned this thing on a bit ago but was fortunate enough to catch fallout boy and whatever that brad paisley thing was.
The first time I heard Breakup in a Small Town, which was ten minutes ago after having to google who Sam Hunt is, was exactly like the first time I heard Elephant. Just. So. Fucking. Powerful.
Heard some guys on Austin radio this morning talking how they hope if stapleton wins its a sign of the way things are turning
music row will just crank up the machine and water down whoever they can sign to their labels. radio might get a little better but it'll pass.
I don't follow this thread because I'm pretty much Isbell or bust when it comes to "country" "music" but have you guys discussed John Moreland? He's been opening up for Dawes and he's incredibly talented.
the best country album this year was 1A) turnpike troubadours 2) sturgill simpson (might be older than 1 yr, cant remember) stapletons good tho, better than that ho ass sam hunt
I was at a wedding 2 weeks ago for one of my friends where Sam Hunt was a groomsman...look at how cool I am everyone. Side note, dude is actually like 6'4 and played QB at MTSU and UAB. I just assumed he was 5'8 and a frat guy.
Got some flights/long drives coming up and I'll put him into the mix. I've pretty much been stuck on turnpike troubadours and lucero's new album recently.
Anyone in the thread like the Futurebirds? I think you can consider it country. I have been fixated on their new album
