Personally I like long title runs, maybe not this long, but its better than when a belt gets hot shotted around every few weeks. Demoltion's title reign was 478 days. New Day will have to hold the belts past Survivor Series to break that
Exactly. It is the exact same thing every time. New team comes up, has two or three matches, New Day retains. Rinse. Repeat.
I'm not above a lengthy reign if booked correctly. But as I said in my post above, it has been the exact same thing over and over again. The biggest adversity they have faced is Big E getting his leg rammed in to a ring post.
Non-title in a 6 man tag match that lasted 8 minutes on a B-show PPV, so it doesn't even really matter and I had honestly even forgotten about it. I am sure I am not alone in that.
Watching bits and pieces throughout the day. Didn't see the pre-show, was Jax/Fox the only one on the pre-show? Club/New Day - was entertaining, but the finish does nothing for me. Kendrick/TJP - ditto. Sheamus/Cesaro - don't care at all, but holy shit how did Cesaro not die on that STUPID FUCKING SUICIDE DIE EVERY FUCKING MATCH FUCK YOU WWE. Yet again another garbage finish... (lol at the random WWE polo guy who I guess got taken out by the spill into the audience. dude just laid in the fetal position for 10 minutes there) Zayn/Jericho - I feel like this isn't over since Y2J got the win. Pretty decent match, but not best match of the night. **Avoided spoilers all night and day and then refreshed twitter and just saw a picture of Roman with the US Title at the top of my feed :/ Sasha/Bayley/Charlotte - Feel like the rushed into this triple threat, should have had a Sasha rematch instead. Bayley doing a Twist of Fate to Sasha in the ropes made me smile. Dana interfering but only some select spots is annoying. She's out there, they've said no DQ in a triple threat, she should just be whooping ass any time she gets a chance, or Foley should have banned her from ringside. Just doesn't make sense. The match itself, however, was probably the most entertaining match so far. Fine with the Charlotte win. I don't know where the story is supposed to go, but I can say that for any of these matches. Roman/Rusev - I feel bad that I just don't care about Rusev any more (not just because of the spoiler). I love Rusev, but this program has dragged on too long with Roman. No idea where Rusev goes from here. Not sure how you eject Lana but not Dana Brooke...I guess the silver lining of Roman winning is he's firmly in the mid-card for a bit? Maybe? Hell in a Cell a Raw exclusive PPV :///////// Rollins/Owens - KO is just great. Asking if Seth was okay after he launched him out of the ring was hilarious. Commentary has really fallen apart during this match (not that it's great to begin with). Architect!! You don't even have a foundation!! Can't believe they even let KO tease the package piledriver. Wonder if they told anyone they were going to do that. Dear god what was that pump-handle neckbreaker!? Top rope gut buster. KO pulling out a bunch of moves for this one. KO CROTCH CHOPS Ah package powerbomb. Makes more sense than the piledriver. ROLLINS CROTCH CHOP!! Jericho rope shenanigans are fine in my book, but that ref should have bee positioned better to make that more believable. **GLASS REF ALERT** The crowd counting up to 20 Was a pretty damn good match, but I agree with Graves saying it took away from the match. Steph with an almost smile when KO wins? Maybe she was in on it with HHH? Idk, we'll see. Ha on the replay you can see a guy in the background immediately facepalm fantastic. Can't say I disagree with him. Overall okay show but nothing special, outside of the main event.
I'll tell you where the Charlotte/Sasha story goes. Hell in a Cell in Sasha's hometown. I think they could actually main event.
Ive been saying for a year a womens match will (and should) main event a non WM or SummerSlam PPV soon. But I feel like it would have worked better with a long build coming to a head instead of whatever rematch or rematch-ish we're on.
Another Clash of Champions rematch announced for tonight will see WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day defend against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. YAY!!
Its hard to do a long build in a division that has what, 5 wrestlers in it without doing a bunch of rematches?
hard...but the one benefit they do have is one of the top heels in the company. Charlotte playing the arrogant champion while avoiding Sasha for a long time could have worked if the original plan was the big 1on1 match finally happening. Even if she heels around Triple Threats and Fatal 4 Ways on occasion. Charlotte's that good where it would feel legit yet warranted. Could have some of that Cyborg/Ronda feel to it. Or Mayweather/Pacquio in how it is treated (not feeling good about bringing that woman beater into the analogy but it works).
Not sure why you would watch tonight. It's the night of the first presidential debate so this is gonna be a super throwaway show.
Haven't watched raw in like 3 weeks due to work schedule. Are Enzo and Cass just "there", or still feuding with the shining stars? Also cheap heat mentioned they are almost wearing "matching" attire now?
Anderson and Gallows are winning the belts tonight. Becuase the only thing Vince loves more than doing the wrong thing... is doing the right thing at the wrong time...
It would not surprise me in the least. Vince trying to get a pop in ratings when there's no chance in hell that will happen.
jesus fucking christ... I can't do RAW anymore. Especially if they are pushing this fucking asshole like this He just got hit with a motherfucking chair and yet you could recover in seconds to spear Rusev.
you stupid idiot... 15K people chanting yes yes yes because they want you to hammer Rusev with a chair and you just sit on it.
btw I forgot to mention this yesterday I get the mechanics of a triple threat match and that it really needs to be 1-on-1 for the majority...but if anyone watches last night's match again can you count how long bayley napped for? I think she got into REM sleep
I've seen people really talk up that match but to me it was a clunker and Charlotte controlled way to much of the match. Two faces vs a heel and she dominated the action.
Oh shit Kofi bleeding everywhere. I saw some spots on the outside of the ring but didnt see where it was aside from Gallow's arm.
