It seems like a lot of unnecessary work to change everything to purple for the cruiserweights. Ropes and turnbuckles. If you want to do the lights and the ring apron/posts, I get it. I don't hate it or anything, I just don't get the point. It's like they want to keep it a completely separate brand despite it being a big addition to RAW.
I don't have a problem with them not wanting to get the stench of Raw brand all on the cruisers by branding them separately. And I keep hoping the reason they chose purple is because eventually the cruisers will be spread across both brands
I don't think the plan is to have Neville as a part of the division. And Tony Nese should move to Smackdown and compete in the midcard. He doesn't belong with the cruisers.
They are usually good, entertaining games. But this years got fucked by the brand logo changes and the new stages. Pretty sure from the videos I saw before launch that they didn't get them in the game. At least not yet. So to me it would already feel outdated.
Daniel BryanVerified account@WWEDanielBryan Dear @WWECesaro, when does your Raw contract end? We'd love to have you on #SmackdownLive :)
Just now watched the last 30 minutes of Raw. Love JeriKO. KO yelled "THE LEAD SINGER OF FOZZY" at one point on the apron
KO and Jericho are just endlessly entertaining. Jericho as a face had me wanting him off of television. Right now he's must see TV
man i would love jericho turning on KO and have them go at it to pass the time this fall. they are absolutely the only thing worth watching. seth as a tweener is not doing it for me. why not let sami be the one to take the belt off KO and give them another feud. would have some meaning, finally, other than just being a personal rivalry. raw desperately needs another face.
WWE, TNA TNA Running Out of Time to Make a Deal for the Company, WWE Reportedly Back In Play By Marc Middleton Sep 27, 2016 - 9:31:04 AM Last week we reported that WWE was interested in purchasing TNA, presumably to acquire their fourteen year old tape library showcasing current WWE Superstars like Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Samoa Joe, and WWE World Champion AJ Styles. The offer was originally described as an "option if no other parties purchase the company." Dave Meltzer noted on this morning's episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is back at the table, Dixie Carter has the right to sell to whomever she wants, however company ownership has become incredibly complicated. TNA is nearly out of time, and rumor has it that there is still no deal for Billy Corgan to purchase the company. Corgan needs to make a deal to fund this Sunday's Bound For Glory and next week's TV tapings, and needs to do so by Friday as it's the last business day before Sunday's pay-per-view. According to Meltzer, WWE's main goal is acquiring the tape library and while they'd more than likely keep a handful of talent contracts, there would be no plan to keep TNA active going forward. Whether it is this year or six months from now, WWE is going to buy it. Might as well just let it happen.
Part of me wants Billy Corgan to get the deal done because I don't want the Broken Matt Hardy saga to end. The other part of me would like to see the TNA library on WWEN, and would like to see some of the TNA folks back in WWE. Of course, WWE (read: RAW) already has trouble using all the talent they do have, so I don't want that either. They'll ruin EC3 and Mike Bennett. Doubt the Hardy's would go back. Aron Rex and Cody Rhodes have already been squandered (not saying they were top talents). They could always keep TNA going and add a 3rd night/week. Merge the X-division with Cruiserweights, etc, but no, they'd fuck that up too so w/e.
From PWI Insider Mike Johnson Billy Corgan could still make a deal in time, however Johnson says "the fuse on the TNA bomb is close to the end." He says the end is well within sight, and at this point, there's no avoiding it.
Yeah, but these seem legit. The company has been bleeding not just their own money but now other people's as well for the last year or so. Dixie even knows it is done, that's the only reason she has taken a backseat in the last few months.
I tuned into TNA once for 3 minutes and it was on a channel that scrolled "The Guide" on the lower 3rd. A person was talking to baboons and tigers that were locked in cages. I was liked nope and flipped back and just watched commercials.
I don't watch TNA, I just keep it on in the background. The new Grand Champion thing they've done recently has been good, and the Hardys, but that's about it. I imagine TNA finally going under would help ROH a lot, assuming most of those performers aren't going to WWE. ROH has been struggling and has lost several guys recently, and they are pretty much relying on their partnership with New Japan at the moment. If they got an influx of talent from TNA it would help them tremendously.
We have a few mutual friends that say he's an incredible dude. And his music is just perfect. Looking forward to seeing him do big things.
I red boxed 2k16 for Xbox360 and it was terrible but mainly because it was only half the game. Full game on next gen. Despite already being a little outdated roster-wise, 2k17 still will have the biggest roster ever in a WWE game. Just saw this and figured I'd share. https://wwe.2k.com/news/wwe-2k17-universe-mode#oo
That match also lets you see Sting, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, Arn Anderson, Stone Cold and Rick Rude.
Raw got HIAC, so Smackdown gets TLC http://www.wwe.com/shows/wwetlc/2016/article/wwe-tlc-2016-tickets?sf36979209=1#oo
Also Illinihockey, the first one is really good. Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff, Dusty Rhodes and Paul Ellering vs. The Four Horseman (Ric, Arn, Tully, Lex Luger and J.J. Dillion). The Road Warriors also shatter Dillion's arm in the match. Also Fall Brawl 96: nWo (Hogan, Hall, Nash and nWo Sting) vs. Team WCW (Luger, Arn Anderson, Flair and Sting). This the beginning of Sting's turn from the surfer to Crow Sting. Also, in a lot of ways, the beginning of the Sting vs. Hogan feud.
