guys we can talk ourselves into Rollins or KO all we like. But next week the Roman Empire is back. They straight dropped the Rusev/Roman program last night for a reason. Its back to the same old shit. With that said I'm pretty positive Vince/Steph are running RAW creative and HHH/Ryan are leading Smackdown. The storylines makes sense on Smackdown. Guys are properly built. Finishes to the matches made sense and they are building to a big title match with AJ and Dean. It looks like NXT it just doesn't really have the star power NXT has just yet. Smackdown doesn't have the roster but as far as show its way ahead of RAW.
Smackdown has done a great job of telling storylines and making feuds make sense. Raw is still throwing two big names together for a match for no reason. At least this week they were fighting for a chance for the Fatal Fourway. But overall Raw hasn't changed much about its storylines and setup while Smackdown completely revised their stuff and people are invested in it now.
Jericho would have been the perfect Universal Champion for a PPV or two. That scarf and belt combo with him playing the obnoxious heel for a month or two with it might get it over. Hopefully he helps KO now and plays a role. What can they do with Reigns with it on him, unless he takes a huuuuuge heel turn
Roman isn't turning. They are fully invested in making him the top babyface. My guess is KO and Cass end up costing each other the title in some fashion so they can continue on that feud. Roman wins the title. (RAW is in Houston no clue why type of crowd that is but he likely won't get shit on like he would of last night) Rollins goes after Roman at NOTC for the belt.
At this point why bother caring anymore, it's his company let him run it into the ground by being stubborn. Reigns will never be a top Babyface to the fans no matter what they try. At least we have NXT...until they pillage all the talent...
I don't see the NXT slowing down anytime soon. They just signed some really badass indy guys. They don't have the TNA/ROH/NJPW appeal like Naka, Joe ect. But they are crazy talented. Plus they can build stars. Look at what NXT BK did for AA, Roode, Moon, Jose and Hideo. They come out of that PPV stronger. Roode looks like the biggest star walking. They did that with like 5 vignettes and a month worth of NXT tapings.
No Way Jose has been a pleasant surprise, and its an easy chant for the fans. I can see why they're digging him.
so they end up in the same exact position they were in june? rollins chased reigns for the belt then, too.
They are in Baltimore on the 8th. Presale for tickets is Thursday. If you find a code lmk I want to get tickets for b-more
Dude, Cena buried Wyatt. He beat him 2 straight PPV's and the one win he did have against Cena at Extreme Rules it took multiple instances of interference from Harper and Rowan and a possessed child for Wyatt to win. Cena also beat all three members of the Wyatt family in a handicap match.
And then the Undertaker beat Bray, and Kane and Undertaker beat the entire Wyatt family. And then Roman Reigns beat Bray and the entire family. Everyone has beat Bray Wyatt.
I understand that. But just like Rusev, Wyatt was built up to be a main event attraction until they crossed Cena. After being buried, the luster was gone and they jobbed to the stars after that. Go take a look at Rusev after Wrestlemania 2015.
After Cena, Bray had the Ambrose feud which he won. Then he lost to Undertaker then he started up his feud with Reigns, then he feuded with Taker again....that is when he got buried. He also won a mini-feud with Ryback somewhere in there.
It's 2016 and people still talk about guys being "buried" like it means something. People get more worked up over booking than ever before, but wins and losses have never mattered less.
That's true, Ambrose was a jobber losing to everyone and now he's booked stronger than Rollins ever has been.
AJ was jobbing all over the place the past few months and now he's beat Cena twice and probably is going to start feuding for the title now.
Fastlane - Beat Jericho Wrestlemania - Lost to Jericho Payback - Lost to Reigns Extreme Rules - Lost to Reigns MITB - Beat Cena WWE Live Tokyo - Beat Cena Battleground - Lost 6 man tag to Cena/Enzo/Cass SS - Beat Cena So besides swapping wins with Jericho, the only feud AJ has lost has been to Reigns. Which if you would have put any wrestler on the roster up against Reigns at that time, they would have lost as well.
Going back to Mania he lost clean to Jericho, Reigns twice, Owens, and ate the pin at Battleground. That's a lot of losing for a guy that just won a feud with Cena.
Look, all I know is Michael Tarver said John Cena broke his arm on purpose because he was seen as a threat to Cena's throne. I have no reason not to believe that Michael Tarver would have been anything but a multi-time heavyweight champion if it wasnt for Cena. That should settle it.
If any of the old Nexus guys should have been worried it would have been Darren "black John Cena" Young
Bryan tweeted two new titles are being unveiled tonight. Women will be one, and I assume tag the other. Yawn.
hopefully this culminates with AJ sending Dolph back to the lower mid card where he belongs soon. Like tonight.
That stipulation doesn't make sense AJ - you win, you get a title shot Dolph- you win its a triple threat match So AJ gets a title shot regardless...
That Smack down tag team roster is pretty brutal. Dudleys could have been perfect to win the titles then feud and eventually put over AA
It does make sense. AJ is the #1 contender...he just might have to share that title shot with Dolph if Ziggler can beat him tonight. If he can, he gets Ambrose alone.
That's not what Daniel Bryan said, he told AJ "If you win tonight, you'll get a shot at the title at the PPV" before turning to Ziggler. Nothing about a one on one shot or anything. It makes sense, just not the way Daniel Bryan said it
