new game comes out on 8/25. we went a little loco in Madden 15 last night since the league is more or less over
yea we really should mandate that when we implement some firm rules for trading and such. standard advancing of 3 days works well and if there happens to be a game in week 16-17 that has playoff implications, waiting an additional 24 hours would be ok.
Should definitely ban all computer trades unless it was offered and you post a pic. I like that rule. There's most likely going to be less than 10 CPU teams. If everyone gets 1 computer trade per year to do what they want those rosters are going to be pillaged in no time. Also, this fantasy draft is going to fucking suck with this many users. No way everyone is able to do it on the same day. I assume the goal is to do it on a Sunday night?
gonna have to be a sunday night for sure i'd imagine most people are only gonna be around for the first dozen rounds which wont be that bad. then only the super srs will stay for the rest. I have practically played the last 2 seasons with 24 players (extra wr and cb) and everyone else is FA post-draft. So I will probably let the CPU fill out my 2-deep
If anyone decides they want the Packers, I'd like to be the Patriots. I just want those 'Merica based colors mainly, but right now the conferences are 11 AFC and 10 NFC.
I've changed over to wanting Coach Mode instead of Owner Mode.....mostly because I'm the Titans and I assume my franchise will be hemorrhaging money for no reason.
our official policy as of right now is we're trusting EA to fix the owner mode finances issue as promised in their release announcement a couple months ago. Hopefully they do because I'm the goddamn Raiders. And with the fantasy draft and all it's essentially impossible to do a "do over" if owner mode still blows
Can we quick sim a couple seasons of owner mode before committing all our league to it... If I know EA, and I've been playing their games for a while, they will not only fail to fix it but somehow make it worse while adding some cool graphics.
won't that be a problem with the whole Danny O'Cheesin rule: if a player retires/is booted from the league they can't rejoin the league as their old team until the next season. I guess we could figure out what week is the transition between years, I think it's after re-position players week post-draft, and just retire that week and come back the next week when FA hits. Would probably be a shit show though
in our other league I got to 4 straight AFC championships and was still in the red as the Chiefs. The game booted me and then the team "blacklisted" me from being their owner, forever. It was a bad day.
Is Madden 15 in the EA Vault yet? Thinking of starting this whole EA Access thing.... edit: Looks like it is
We're all pretty awful except for DWarren4Heisman and UnicornDickslam oh wait...... NFC Bitches XBOne
so I guess you blacked out when I beat your ass with the 82 ovr Steelers led by 64 rated QB Landry Jones when you had the Seahawks... in seattle I wouldn't want to remember that either so I forgive you
I'm really bad, they let me play... I'm like that little brother that always looses but still plays because it's fun to hang out with the older kids.
This is true. League wouldn't be the same without The Dougs and Wampas of the world. And when/if you do lose to them it kinda feels good in a way
I would give up the Saints to play against other bad players more often, winning a game or two a year against real players would be a fun change
