I prefer Gardens & Graveyards because the games last much longer and give you the ability to go on crazy vanquish streaks.
This multiplayer is rough as hell for sniping, not that I've tried... It's like a straight free for all melee in the multiplayer. The maps are very compact and crowded.
Just won a 15 minute rocket league game and scored the winning goal from 3/4 out. God this game is satisfying when you win.
Trying to do the same myself but none of the season related achievements unlocked for me. Played a full season 11-0 or whatever and didn't get any of them.
Probably my best intentional aerial goal so far on Rocket League... http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/bicranium/video/15289876 I have plenty where I've gone up and been like, well, this might work so let's do it and it does but that one I actually hit it with the exact part of the car I wanted to (and needed to) to score for the go ahead goal with under 10 seconds to go.
1. Fable Legends has been cancelled.....which is neither upsetting nor surprising. http://www.polygon.com/2016/3/7/111...ed-lionhead-studios-closing?hl=1&noRedirect=1 2. The Division (code name: hnnnnng) is coming out tomorrow. Also, it has been leaked that it is expected to have 26 story missions to begin with. Probably looking at around 10-12 hours of starting, single player gameplay. That's more than Destiny had at launch and that number isn't technically confirmed. http://metro.co.uk/2016/03/07/the-division-has-26-main-story-missions-5737611/
FYI the Batmobile in Rocket League is really good. Tightest turning radius in the game. Also the longest car in the game so you get some decent surface area for the hitbox. Another thing that I am assuming it a bug and I actually haven't seen pointed out anywhere else yet... there is no "shift shock" from when you go into "supersonic speed." This is one of the main reasons I'll miss an easy ball, I go from high speed into "supersonic" right as I'm getting near it. For some reason right now the Batmobile has no shock from doing that so everything is very smooth.
If you buy a game through microsoft/xbox online will it automatically download to your xbox if you are not at home? Or do you need to get on and manually download it?
PSA: If you feel like you aren't ranking up quickly in The Division, focus on side mission and main missions. Those "encounters" don't give you shit for XP. Just went from level 13-16 in like an hour because I cleaned up 2-3 areas of easy side missions. Also, return to the safe house for that area and they give you an XP reward for completing all of the side missions.
How awesome is it by the way? School ends on Tuesday for me, I've got a significant amount of free time on my hands.
It's great. I cancelled a date last night to smoke weed on the couch and play the division. Do not give a shit it was worth it
Can someone give me a relatively brief overview of The Division? I was pretty interested in it back when it was announced like 3 years ago but after all the delays and general Ubisoft hate in that time span I stopped caring.
Its great if you like this type of game. Beautiful world, fantastic interface and story, but it is a little bit of a grind at some points. I have played for 16-20 hours and its been a blast the entire time. The servers have been above average as well.
Its massively multiplayer (think Destiny or World of Warcraft) with the gears of war cover system. Get a quest, complete it for experience/rewards, return it to the quest giver. Its all about quests, experience, leveling, and a loot system. You can play the entire game single player but its a lot more fun with people. In addition, everything is online. Even if you choose to play the game by yourself, there are bunches of people on your same server and in your same world.
I've busted out all the side missions and encounters all the way to Clinton. Side missions and encounters = the best blue prints for crafting plus get the Canine unit upgrade in the security wing knock out all side stuff in an area, and then you get every intel, worth 300 xp a pop, in that area.
Friend and I played most of the night with just one issue. Said I wasn't connected to the servers at one point, I reconnect and it said no servers online. Then that message went away and it just said 0 players online. I started the search and we ended up playing against a fucking Champion in doubles. Since the ranking system on XB1 isn't updated a Champion is only 2 levels higher than what I am (Shooting Star) but still... dude and his buddy (only a Challenger I so probably just starting his transition over from PC/PS4 or on an alt account) were the best duo we've faced thus far.
It was the 3v3 and 4v4 private servers that kept fucking us. I actually played with this dude last night... Standard 3v3 it was him and another ranked player and then me randomly. I don't think he usually plays XboxOne, but dude was pretty badass. https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeag...onovis_beta_2_montage_1_ranked_player_during/
