Huge baseball fan and had usually bought The Show every year except for this one. Play for a day and never play again. Game is extremely overrated year in and year out.
Not sure I can play that since I gave up my beta code. I did download the alpha though so I'll re download and we'll see.
not just baseball, but one of the best ever. we'd have some legendary matchups in college. it was always frustrating to play the guy who'd know how to bait us swinging at something way outside to end the inning. Additionally, the owner mode was epic, I loved building and expanding my own stadium.
I just made a second guy. My first guy got promoted too fast so now I went to a team with a stacked rotation so I can develop for a while. My plan is working pretty great so far.
I have read on the pc version some guys have been modding it each year with updated rosters and stadiums
yea. apparently there is a community who mods the entirety of the game. all the way down to having the announcers's say the player's names http://www.mvpmods.com/
Anyone wanna play BF or Smite tonight? I may have to get a Madden game in as well but that remains to be seen
Gonna be home tonight and I'll be gaming...down to play fifa, smite, or bf Also one of the Games with Gold for July is Assassin's Creed: Black Flag http://majornelson.com/2015/06/25/xbox-live-games-with-gold-for-july-2015/ Never played that game and it appeared to get good reviews so it'll definitely get a download
Broke down and got EA Access Starting with madden, Fifa, and nhl. Any NHL 15 players here? What is the best game mode?
NHL 15 and FIFA 15 alone are worth the price of ea access Going to use that 10% off perk for pga tour. Might grab madden but I think I may try to play the value side of this and play the games after they go in vault. Hell I was happy with FIFA 14 until now. TL;DR - EA Access is the shit if you enjoy sports games
Don't mind my post 4 posts up I end up buying most sports game before they would ever been in the EA Access vault
Played Black Flag for a few hours. Solid game. This is my first Assassins Creed game so the whole virtual reality thing was a bit weird.
Thought it was supposed to be 6 but might be 9. You also get early access to the sports games too. Used to be starting a few days before. Last year it started the Friday before but you only got 6 hours of play. Best value would probably be getting sports games when they come out if you like them and trading them in when they still have some value when it hits the vault.
if you have an Xbox Rewards account setup, and use that login on the microsoft store website, you will get $15 in xbox live credit as opposed to saving $6 through EA Access. Plus you can sell the physical copy as opposed to a digital download.
I've been waiting to get an XBO for a while but this new game is enough to push me over the edge to take the leap.
I want to, but I've heard it's only got like 12 golfers and 8 courses or whatever. Is there just a bunch of generic courses?
according to this they will be adding more courses after release as free dlc and the game will not be a yearly release so they will periodically add more http://www.gamespot.com/articles/eas-new-pga-tour-game-only-has-eight-courses-but-f/1100-6428600/ I usually bought every other year on the 360, so I kind of like the idea of it not being an annual release.
I don't know why but I love this game. Add me so I can play you in rivals GT: Ridge King 765. Up to a level 63 now.
Jesus haha GT: StuBartholomew not sure what level I am, I also bought it online and only have City Park course.
I haven't played PGA in the longest time, from what I recall they shifted away from the arcadey aspects of the game, correct? Tiger Woods in the 03-05 range was great to play in college with friends. We each had our own characters and would get on and play when the others were in class/out, then one guy would gloat how he maxed out this attribute, scored this, or surpassed someone, etc. Admittedly, this was the first downloadable game I bought for the XB1. My console came on release day and then we went to my gf's parent's house for Thanksgiving (we celebrated it a week early). I thought since so many people would be there, that they'd all want to play XB1, so I bought 4 controllers and got a few 4 player games. Powerstar golf has sat and collected e-dust ever since.
That was the one that really caught my eye. Got fantastic reviews. Looks like the first legit LOTR game in awhile. Might have to do it. I loved Far Cry 3 as well so Far Cry 4 is going to be purchased eventually. edit: Here is the list of all the games that have big discounts....much larger list than expected http://www.xbox.com/en-US/promotions/sales/ultimate-game-sale-xbox-one-deals
Might want to pick up some of those 360 titles for cheap. I got Mass Effect (never played those games) since it's already backwards compatible and only $4. My personal favorite suggestion from the games on sale would be Dying Light. Really well made game with an interesting story. Even more fun when you play through with a few friends (online co-op).
