Same, I was at Diamond 5 slayer with a couple wins in it and just tilted my way down to 3 again. Like if you're going 3/9 just chill and let your team carry you for a game instead of making it worse and going 3/15 and fucking your team, people doing that tilts me like no other.
Figured I'd reply to this instead of just editing my other post... I Google'd load times of GTA V and found these from when the game first came out... My own test from tonight... External USB3 hard disk: 1 minute 20 seconds (subsequent tests were all around the same - no improvement) Internal hard disk (Elite Xbox One HD): 1st load - 1 minute 21.5 seconds 2nd load - 59 seconds (subsequent loads were in line with the 2nd load) So the internal of the Elite is definitely an improvement over the stock and it may be worth it to put games you play frequently on the internal over an external. Most games don't have the large initial load time that GTA V has though so the improvements would probably be relatively insignificant.
Played SW:BF last night for a little while. It a lot of fun. Only got to play two game modes but there are like 20. Seems like its very well done. No server issues either (hasnt officially been released so TFWIW. Sup fam
Gonna be that guy and disagree. It's a game. The guy is playing to have a good time just like everyone else. It's stupid to expect him to hang back and not play just because he isn't as good as the rest of the people in the game. (This hot take does not apply to someone who is part of your Xbox party who overexagerated his skills on the sticks)
I I'm not saying he has to hide in a corner, but maybe not just run in the middle and get shit on for the 6th time in a row. Personally, if I know I'm not having too hot a game and my shot is off for whatever reason I'll adjust how I play.
Some people (bad players) never realize that a fps is cerebral and not just blindly running into combat. I dk how many times I've had teammates spawn, sprint out to the wide open middle of the map, die instantly, then restart the cycle all over again. Like dude. What are you expecting to happen?
I still remember a game of team slayer on Lockout on Halo 2 where it was like 46-44 or something, we were winning. Not a ton of time left. My friend and I were set up in library and BR and the other team was pretty much trapped at snipe. We're kinda waiting the other team out since we have the lead and want them to make a move/mistake. Our teammate decided to go Rambo and just run across top mid repeatedly until we lost the game. Spawn BR 1 or BR 2, walk out across top mid, try to do the short jump up to snipe, die, repeat. My friend and I just kinda sat there in awe watching him do it over and over and over again. I think once the other team got to 48 or 49 we realized we had to try and make a push because this one guy was going to lose us the game. The push failed because they were just set up in snipe waiting for us with shotgun and whatnot so we lost. That was when we started using the phrase "Tryin' to be a hero" to describe any player, us included, who tried to take the game into their own hands. Usually with awful results since you can't do that in Halo.
Only thing I'm struggling with is flying ships. I did the X-wing training and was horrible at it. Too much muscle memory from playing Rogue Squadron, I haven't adapted to the very different controls. To me, using the right stick to aim makes the crosshairs dance all over the screen. It's too loose.
Also, for me, it's intuitively different flying X Wing than using jet-pack / force-jumping. I had to toggle y-axis controls & wasn't able to hit anything without using proton torpedos
Yeah don't think I'm gonna pick up Battlefront. I've played 3 hours on the trial and I'm already bored. I'll be able to play with friends who get the game for a couple more hours if I want and that should be enough for me. What a wonderful world it is when I can flip between Fallout 4 and Halo 5 until a new Rainbox Six game comes out
Greetings, supreme video game console owners. I haven't played anything in probably 2-3 years, but tonight I am purchasing an Xbox One. Do I want to get the 1TB Fallout 4 bundle for $400? I have never played a Fallout game in my life. Thank you and god bless.
Kind of a disappointing start so far. I got everything set up and started Fallout 4, but I think it's fucked up or something. All I really did was edit the character and walk around a bit, but something is off with the audio. I hit the button to talk to someone but then I have to hit start and go to the pause menu before they actually start talking. Very strange. Restarted the Xbox and it's still doing that. Not sure if it's a bug or what, but I'll have to look into it more tomorrow.
Up 52-14 on the Colts. Picked Luck 3 times. Had two fumble recovery for touchdowns with Fowler Jr. I pull my starters with 3-4 minutes to go and my fucking Xbox freezes. Awesome.
HEY! He has been solid for me off the edge. My defense needs a lot of help in the secondary though. They're slow as fuck.
Add me, beeds7 I keep it simple. Demoing SW:BF on EA Axxess right now. Not bad. Haven't had time for Black Ops or Rise. Sucks being busy right now.
If I haven't used all my hours of the trial yet but I haven't bought the game yet, I can still use those hours after release, correct? Just being lazy about it.
Changed my gamertag, so if you want to add me and you haven't already (shame on you) my GT is ChuckDollarhyde Will be playing SWBF and also play a lot of BF4.
So is Fallout the way to go? Just finished the long shitty slog that was AC Unity. I think that finally killed the AC franchise for me.
Fallout is amazing if you like massive, open-world, shooter RPGs. Top 5 game out for Xbox One (or any system). Its Skyrim with guns.
Anyone with a solution, was playing COD last night in a party chat with my friends, randomly my headset stopped working. I could hear my party, the mute button lit up and went off when pushed it, but they could never hear me. It worked fine for about an hour then that happened.
Might want to check if you have a communication suspension. Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago.
How would I do this? Easy to fix? It's weird because it was working just fine then randomly went out.
If you didn't hard reset, hard reset. Then next time you have any problem whatsoever, start with that.
Yeah, first try all of the basic troubleshooting stuff e.g. try a hard reset of your xbox (hold power button for like 5-10 seconds and then unplug from back of xbox and from the outlet). Then do a router reset (unplug, plug back in). If that doesn't do the trick, try updating your controller (google the steps). If you have another headset, try that one as well. If none of that works, check this website periodically to see if you have a suspension: https://enforcement.xbox.com Mine didn't show up until 3 days after my party chat stopped working fwiw
Thinking about getting Assassin's Creed Syndicate on Black Friday. Might pick up The Witcher 3 and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for cheap. Has anybody played those games, and would you recommend purchasing them? I'm tempted to get Fallout 4, but will probably just wait for the price to drop.
New one is like twice as big, more weapons and upgrades, new tools and shit, plus it's absolutely visually stunning. Best looking game I've ever played and it's not close. Definitely worth a buy
Definitely grabbing Witcher 3 once I'm done with MGSV, Fallout 4 & Tomb Raider... Price should be down to about $20 by then.
Somethings completely fucked up now. Netflix, games everything I tried it says "We couldn't get your latest saved data"
