Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 The first transfer of the season is Sacha Kljestan going to Belgian champion RSC Anderlecht. Excellent move for Sacha, who had plateaued a bit in MLS. Now he'll be teammates and hopefully playing Champions League ball along with Lukaku. Early rumors on Jozy either staying at Villareal, along with Ajax, Espanyol, and Celtic watching him: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/altidores-club-hopes-could-ride-algeria-outing The rumors for many will really pick up once the World Cup is over.
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 i'll be pissed if jozy goes to espanyol. i'd want him to go to a club that has a shot to do something
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 Ajax would be awesome for Jozy other than Arsenal, Yanks Abroad is the biggest draw to European soccer for me
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 even if suarez leaves, ajax has good strikers. pantelic and sulejmani (although altidore can contribute more than sulejmani if given the time to adjust) who is reporting jozinho to ajax
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 would love to see jozy go to ajax. assuming landon returns to europe this year, where will he go? everton again? or somewhere else
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 Agree on a good fit in Ajax for Jozy...also interested to see what happens with LD.
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 Agree with everybody Jozy would be solid at Ajax. I can see LD going back to Everton and maybe a team like Birmingham or Villa.
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 As long as LD isn't playing in the MLS, I'm happy for him. He just keeps getting better and better. I don't know shit about Ajax, but I also wouldn't mind seeing Jozy with Celtic.
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 espanyol wouldnt be ideal, but i want to go somewhere where he wont be on the bench, i want playing every game possible with the first side LD should go back to everton if possible they were a very good match, Everton was playing real good ball w/him and i think if that team stays healthy they could make a run for top 4, but at should finish in position to play some Europa League
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 I know he's not a big time name but Michael Thomas, who played at ND, is currently on Halmstaad in Sweden with another kid from ND named Miller I think.
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 speak up you fucking faggot piece of shit.............what the fuck do you know about soccer you fairy Drake jockin queer???
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 HUH???? Thewhitegay is following me around trollin??? Now thats fucking pathetic you cunt
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 this is a clear example why the mods shant be bitches and act more like legendary chatzy moderator cas if you act like a faggot, banned with the quickness
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 I suggest the soccer board modship pyramid to look something like Chilean Cas, TNE, Ocho ----------------------------------------------- Man City
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 Blackburn won the EPL. Does that mean that they are going to win it any time soon?
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 Everton could see Europa League action if they can keep Sideshow Bob healthy all year.

Re: ***United States Youth Prospects Thread*** Michael Hoyos is a midfielder who plays for Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina. He has dual citizenship for the US and Argentina who have also expressed for him to play for them.
Re: ***United States Youth Prospects Thread*** Also I think Stefan Jerome was thought of highly at some point. Not sure if he still is or where he is at though.
Re: ***United States Youth Prospects Thread*** Could be but I couldn't find it or remember it, but I didn't spend tons of time checking either.
Re: ***United States Youth Prospects Thread*** I thought of this as a seperate thread from Yanks Abroad since a lot of these player are still in the US, but we can merge them no problem
Re: ***United States Youth Prospects Thread*** True, I kinda figured we could turn it into one thread where you can find out about the youth.
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 Dallas Texans just sent some of their kids (u17-18-19 i think) to England to train with Utd. Utd then sent some of their soccer school coaches to dallas for the last month to coach the entire club during summer camps (u9-u19
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 I figured we'd just turn it into a thread discussing the American youth, if you guys want to make a 2nd thread again, go ahead. My apologies
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 i like them as one topic when is the deadline for the above players to declare what country they will play for? When they turn 21?
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 There's no quote and its from about a week ago (maybe our win vs. Algeria changed his mind?.... maybe?) but Andy Najar allegedly wants to play for Honduras. :/ http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/20/AR2010062002997.html?hpid=skybox
Re: Yanks Abroad '10-'11 kevin prince boateng played for germany according to the radio broadcast today. only once match before he decided he wanted to play for ghana. jerome is his half brother
