Bobby Wood's goal at 2:15, and had an assist on 1860's last goal although the goal scorer created most of it. If he continues to start for 1860, can see him making the Gold Cup roster, just turned 20 y/o back in November.

I didn't understand why he had to retire because he's gay. He made it seem like he couldn't both be gay and play soccer

To clarify on Rogers story, he did not formally announce a retirement, is "stepping away" from pro soccer. At 25, he could definitely return

I know the D is piss poor in his league but damn he is on a roll. Just shows the ineptitude of our build up and the lack of creativity we have in the final 3rd. He can't produce shit with us cause we have shit

It would be nice if we ever paired him with someone too. Whenever he plays up top with Dempsey Clint is dropping back into the midfield for half the game. Hopefully Jozy gets a transfer to a better league this summer, he's proven he can score in the Dutch league and needs a new challenge. A mid tier EPL team where he could get consistent pt would be nice.

The rumors for Jozy this Summer is going to be ridiculous, so I hope wherever he goes, it gets done early in the window. Fiorentina and Stuttgart have already been confirmed as interested.

Jozy needs some type of a supporting cast that has a bit of touch or some type of creative touch in the final 3rd

Hell I'd be happy with any type of control within midfield from us. It's a cluster fuck, with no fluidity or creative thought going forward IMO.

Yeah, it'd be nice if Adam Maher was also creating for Jozy on the USMNT.

Seltzer has also said there will be bigger bids and teams after Jozy this summer than Fiorentina and Stuttgart. AZ will try to get the biggest deal possible because I believe at least 50% of the transfer fee will go to Villarreal.

I totally agree always been out Achilles heel, but at some point if your a transcendental player you need to take over especially against second rate competition like Honduras, panama, etc

I wouldn't categorize Joey as transcendental...he is an avg to maybe above avg forward that with good service can make plays for his squad. He by no means is superior and can't create for himself. When I think of transcendental I think of the Ronaldo's, Romario's et al. that can play with service and create chances themselves.

Jozy would be very good for us if we had quality service going his way, as he's showed, he can be a reliable goal scorer with a good supporting cast. Our problem is we do not currently have a cast worth if shit. I'm pretty down on our squad right now. I just don't know where our creativity is going to come from especially with basically two Dmids on the pitch at the same time. Juergen gonna have to make me a beliver cause in not on the train. I worry about qualifying to tell y'all the truth...we should but I do not have confidence it's a gimme

Very worried about qualifying, we have no GURANTEED points at all with our shit attack......we might be seeing New Zealand for that final spot

    Who is Seltzer?

No offense to Jozy, but I doubt bigger clubs than mid-table Serie A or Bundesliga clubs will be interested.

Greg Seltzer, an American reporter out of Amsterdam that is pretty much all knowing about Americans transferring in Europe news.
