I'm pumped for the Bundy pick, as long as we're able to sign him. Buster Onley tweeted yesterday that a long-time scout said Bundy's the best pitching prospect he's ever seen (better than Strasburg his draft year.)
Also, Dylan's older brother Bobby is in our farm system and probably our best pitching prospect right now.
I remember about Bobby being in the system too. I wondered how he was being handled and if that's why Dylan looked so disinterested. He did come out and say that he isn't an emotional guy, so he didn't really have a big reaction to it. They also interviewed him next to the Bradley kid who had such a big personality. Good God he looked like a prick.
He's currently with class A Frederick and pitching very well. His ERA is a low 2 if I remember correctly. I'm sure he'll move up either later this year or next season. I saw him pitch two days ago against the Potomac Nationals. Ryan Zimmerman was making a rehab start for Potomac. He went 2-3 off Bundy with a double. Bundy dominated the rest of the lineup though. He went 7 innings and gave up one run. They're saying Dylan could be in the rotation by 2013 which is pretty crazy to think about.
Wouldn't look too much into that. Might have been nervous of camera or maybe just his personality. I'm sure the kid is happy as shit he's about to be a millionaire. Hoping to get back up to .500 soon. Where the fuck is this pitcher we got from Oakland?
It was live during the draft. Both he and Bradley were having a draft party together. Not sure if it's online anywhere.
So 4 game win streak, 1 game under .500 agan, Markakis' first extra base hit in last 88 abs and oh yeah Arrieta tied John Lester for AL lead in wins.

Hello. Hi. How's it going. Wei Yin vs the Yankees tonight to get us back over .500. Can you believe Buck has been in Baltimore for 6 years now.
Manny hasn't hit well but his plate discipline looks a lot better, hope it continues. I've cursed Davis enough in the MLB thread tonight. Lineup should be a lot better when Wieters, Paredes, and Hardy get back in the next week or 2. Scoring runs but it's mainly because Jones and Snider are red hot.
Jones is scorching. Was listening to an interview before the season started with Davis about how he had some tricks up his sleeve to beat the shift and how he'd make teams pay for using it. Don't think he's hit 1 grounder anywhere but straight into the shift.
Hadn't been watching as I was watching USMNT vs Mexico. What happened? See we are holding to a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the 8th so figured I better turn it on.
just 4 or 5 batters in a row serving fastballs high in the zone - Jones made a great play on what shouldve been a 2 RBI double - those two runs scored later, but probably saved the inning to keep it 7-5 and not worse
Hmm Davis got put 6th in the lineup today and has a few K's and a couple RBI at least he hit the ball. Snider in the 4 hole...yuck
We need to win the next 2 vs Philly and not get swept at Toronto. Going to the Cleveland series next weekend, hopefully I don't get shot.
team is playing so much better with Wieters back. Adds something to the lineup and dugout quite clearly that we were missing. Wish our pitching wasn't dogshit....the division is there for the taking if Tillman can get straightened out and be the ace we need him to be.
