If the stars lose this series it’s because they’re missing their 50+ point forward and also best 4th liner. If they win Vegas is a dogshit team. I don’t make the rules. That’s just how it goes.
i have no idea, it seemed like a mental lapse. even if you expect your d to cut that you still play it better than this.
There’s revenge for the hit that didn’t even happen lmao. What an idiot Pietrangelo has been all series
i am always against those ideas but I am such an old man. I like how it is going now, fast pace, and I would raise your 4on 4 with a little wider rinks but still 5 on 5
I think research says wider rinks don't actually help with opportunities. The guys have gotten so much bigger and faster more space does seem nice though (whether 4v4 or bigger ice)
You are right but if you play 4x4 on a normal it also makes it less condensed. It’s why I was saying 5 v 5 on a slightly wider rink
I see ohhaithur point. Watching a caps or islanders game is a fucking snooze fest. Solid, sound hockey for the most part. Just boring
Since the extra ice would be in less-threatening areas I'm not sure about any additional action. Zone entries would be easier due to a wider blue line, but it would lead to a lot of keep-away Considering we've seen enough 4-on-4 to know what that's like, that's my vote. Plus owners would make more money (players would require you to keep the same number of roster spots though)
i have been saying this forever, but if you widen it just a little more and not to the Olympic size I think it could be better. Players are faster now anyway
This is my annual complaint that the nhl can fuck off for so quickly giving away the inside blue line to ad space because Covid and now won’t go back to the playoff/finals logos on the actual ice.
