It's honestly shocking to me to see so much space between the two universal parks. I know it's nothing different between what disney has, but I'm just so used to everything being within a few hundred yards of each other.
I know the inside of WDW like the back of my hand. Know the convention area decently well from all these work conferences. Universal area less so.
With the AR stuff they have going on in Super Mario World, the Mario Kart ride and the "hidden" spyglass, I think they could really do something along those lines wrt a Pokemon land.
Got our next trip on the books for March. Taking our oldest son right before he turns 3. We are going to leave the baby with grandparents. This will be our first thing with just the oldest after his brother arrives. We are going to stay at Pixar Place.
That’s a big reason for going there, no doubt. Trying to nail down where to get dinner. We will probably try to eat at two resorts, with the Flying Fish being one. I really want to go back to Jiko or California Grill. Might opt for another new spot though.
I mean you are in the Epcot resorts, I'd stick with eating on the lake or on the gondola. Yachtsman (Yacht/Beach) is underappreciated, Toppolino (Riviera) is supposed to be excellent, Beaches and Cream (Yacht/Beach) is fun for a more casual meal, Il Mullino (Dolphin) is fantastic italian, etc. Then you have everything at Epcot.
Yeah logistically it’s much easier, no doubt. Appreciate the feedback. Toppolino does sound intriguing.
I've only done the character breakfast there, which is good but overpriced even by disney standards. I'm sure dinner is good there though.
This is me. Had a trip booked in September and December. We get a letter with a florida resident offer for a one bedroom at wilderness lodge for like $300 a night. Guess who is going again in June?
exactly what happened to us, this is why we are going again https://disneyland.disney.go.com/offers-discounts/3-day-ticket-offer-2024/
Been 2 yrs but we did Toppolino and it was great. Travel agent said it was her favorite Italian at disney. The views at sunset were nice as well.
10/10. Would stay again. And honestly I like the old cabins aesthetic vs the new ones. The new ones look more like HGTV tiny homes. I know they’ll be great to stay in but I just like the log cabin look. property is fantastic though. Good pools, fireworks views, good playgrounds. We only left once to go to whispering canyon for breakfast (which I also recommend)
Wound up at the dance hall a few weeks ago when we stayed at the swan (grandparents watched the kids). Wish we went back to Jellyroll instead. Also my older kid loves the monorail so we did Chef Mickeys for his birthday and he absolutely loved it (breakfast).
