Not very often that two England Internationals get transferred on the same day in the January window.
God, this would put me in such a hilariously awkward position. Thankfully it is nothing more than someone's highly questionable opinion. If Liverpool make £25m Daniel Sturridge sale decision, Tottenham should take advantage http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/01/1...m-daniel-sturridge-sale-decision-tottenham-s/
He's played for 8 teams since 2009. And this move doesn't even add to that since he's already had one spell there. He's not exactly living up to his namesake.
Tottenham have signed 17 year old midfielder Shilow Tracey from Ebbsfleet Town for an undisclosed fee after he impressed on trial. I had no clue who he was before hearing about a possible deal last week, but I would imagine he will be lighting the EPL on fire come next season. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...joined-spurs-for-an-undisclosed-a3155696.html
I'm pretty sure that Stoke uses FIFA 13 to decide which players they should bring in and so far it's been quite the success.
Another window passing without any candid interviews from Harry's Range Rover leaves me feeling a little sad.
The last few have come through strong. We need a striker more than anything right now... though it would spell the end of our brief False-9 phase.
I'd imagine they can appeal and buy this summer. Honestly I do think it's kind of unfair that a ban 14 days into a 31 day window kind of shoots you in the ass. Especially when you have trouble remembering deadlines for submitting paperwork.
Almost assuredly what they'll do. These bans are a fucking joke anyway but on top of the De Gea shit & CDR fiasco this isn't a good look. Maybe someday the internet will come to Spain and they can stop doing business like its 1986.
maybe stop taking a country wide nap in the middle of the goddamn workday and you'll get some work done
One wonders if this would have happened if Zizou's boy Platini wasn't in a world of shit. At least now he has an excuse if he fails.
The faith you have in high ranking soccer officials is admirable. You're right, I'm sure Platini would have loved to slam the ban hammer on his buddy that publicly backed him to be the next president of FIFA. The guy who replaced having been a one club man for Atletic Bilbao probably isn't significant either.
1. The transfer ban comes from FIFA, not UEFA. Those are two seperate organizations. 2. None of those decisions are made unilaterally. 3. The FIFA Disciplinary Comm. voted on the punishments back in the spring of '15 and confirmed it back in July, while Platini was still President of UEFA. 4. You're a fucking moron and have no idea what you're talking about. Again.
Sounds like Townsend to Newcastle is all but done. Makes sense with all the talk of Thauvin going back to France.
Another high quality English international, how much did you steal him for?!?! I've read we wanted 14M pounds but felt if we got more than 10M we had done alright.
I'm seeing 12M but you can never really trust the papers. Andros has some potential but is very frustrating. If he ever develops a consistent end product he will be a tough player to match up against, you can't teach pace. He needs to resist cutting in so often and just stick closer to the touchline. Hodgson for some reason seems to rate him, he def needs to move this window if he wants any chance to force his way into the Euro 16 discussion. He seems to play better for England than he does in club competition, 3 goals in 10 appearances for England and 3 in 50 for us.
This could be the steal of the window. Austin had a great year last year playing for a horrible squad: @ESPNFC: BREAKING: Charlie Austin joins Southampton from QPR for a fee of around £4m.
Yeah I'm surprised nobody had taken a chance on him yet, especially some of the teams at the bottom struggling for goals. We were linked with him in the summer but Poch didn't see him as a good fit for our system, though I wouldn't have minded us taking a chance on him. QPR have been trying to unload him since they made the drop it seemed.
Cladio Beauvue leaving Lyon for Celta Vigo. This may or may not be related to Clutch coming into town this week.
I can't say I will miss Townsend continued campaign to assassinate the punters in Row Z. Andros and Pav would have been a formidable AA battery.
Rumor: Spurs looking @ Wissam Ben Yedder from Toulouse. the guy is a fucking wizard on the ball. could be a sneaky good signing if they can get him cheap.
I honestly don't know because I don't follow the MLS so this might sound ridiculous. What pays more for a guy like Morris? MLS or Bund?
