Just gonna keep it rolling from the first book.

-Interested to see how Jimmy gets his revenge, or his plan to get it at least
    - Poor Martin, Roy DGAF about being a good apprentice

    Through Ch. 11

I really like this Atlantis setting. I think it was smart to move away from dark ages London/Camelot.

How is it so far Truman ? I have some other books I am wanting to read to finish up this year/have this + the third book on my Christmas list, so I'm just gonna wait until then to read it.

It's good. Granted I'm maybe 20% in, but really enjoying it. Just like the first book, there's very little table setting and you jump right in. Plot and story is moving quickly and it's a fun read so far. If you dont want to wait, I can send you copies.

It's about the same length as Off to be the Wizard. Work has slowed to a crawl. I'll probably finish this and the next one by week's end. I'll let you know how it is when Im finished.

Jimmy has to have ulterior motives... Looking forward ot what those might be.

Finished the 3rd book. Again, it was about the same as the first two. I liked it a little bit less. I think some of it was just fatigue of reading three of these books in a row. It was probably a little more funny/slap sticky, but the plot and story was more meh to me.

First two were 3.5s Unwelcomed Quest was a 3

I just started the book but right away this
Roy character has to be sent by Jimmy somehow.

Finished book 2. I think Truman nailed it: I think I didn't enjoy book 2 as much because I was fatigued because book 2 was similar to book 1. I gave it a 6/10 because I think I was just expecting something different and instead got basically the same thing.

Just powered through all 3, more or less agree with everyone's assessment. Certainly not the most well written thing at times but a really enjoyable read(s).

    After chapter 17

when old brit tells Phil about the next attempt on new brit, why didn't he ask if he told her about it? It was the easiest way to get answers to his free will conundrum.

I'm such a sucker for time travel stuff.

I just finished this today. It took me a while due to my family and I moving but I really enjoyed it.

Other than Jimmy going through all that trouble to return to...apologize...I liked the story. I look forward to book 3. The treasury agents crack me up.

    I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Wanted to read more tonight but got caught up in doing some stuff for work tomorrow. Enjoying it. Light and fun like the first.

I'm excited that they're going to Atlantis pretty quickly. Interested in what that'll bring. Not so much with the Gwen relationship but with the continual world building. There does have to be some overarching setup done by all the wizards.

I do wonder about Roy. Maybe it's just being so skeptical about anything but something does seem off about him. I don't think he has a tie to Jimmy but I guess it wouldn't surprise me.

Started today, already through Chapter 9

laughed long and hard when Tyler's new defensive spell he hits Gary with is the hover spell that Martin created in book 1 that failed so horribly. Great stuff.

I'm loving it right now, even if I haven't been able to read as much as I would like the last few days. And the bouncing back and forth between the Atlantis stuff and the stuff with Jimmy and the agents has been awesome. Ended on the cliffhanger of Todd being prepared to say something after reading the letter. Looking forward to reading what happens next later tonight.

Could Roy be one of these agents? I feel like no, but I keep thinking about him because when he showed up at the start, it was weird and odd. But he did apparently have a part to play in the creation of Atlantis. Idk, looking forward to what happens.

I love the time travel stuff and the mental hoops you have to jump through with the two Brits. Excited for what's next. Been a ton of fun so far and I think at this point I might like it more than the first book.

Finished thanks to a drive from Kentucky to Alabama and listening to the audiobook on 1.5x speed which becomes very normal after 5 minutes or so. 7.5/10

Really enjoyed both storylines. I'm a sucker for Jimmy and the audiobook narrator does a great job with his voice. So smug and annoying at the same time. Phillip and Martin's conversations are always a treat and really enjoyed the addition of a love interest for Phillip which happened to also test his staunch belief in free will. Martin coming into a place filled with large good looking men was pretty funny too. I kept suspecting Britt the Younger's servant of being up to no good but I guess not. It was fun trying to wrap my head around the time travel stuff as well.

Can't wait for the next book.

    Done
I think I liked it more than the first one. I love super nerdy time travel stuff that makes you reread (or rewatch on a tv show or movie (LOST season 5 being the first thing I thought of)) so I really enjoyed a lot that was in this book.

Jimmy HAS to be up to something else though, right? Unless it was to get Todd involved? But he hated Todd. Idk, I just can't imagine him going through 30 years to say sorry. I guess there is the never dying thing, but how will you know that they'll undo all that? I thought it was great bouncing back and forth between him and the Atlantis stuff but I just don't buy 20-25% of this story building towards that. We'll see.
I think I'll go 8/10 on this one. Really fun read.

I'm not going to read #3 just yet for a couple reasons. One being that it seems like it's good to get away from this series for tad, even if that only turns into a month. So I am gonna do that. Plus I have some other stuff I've been wanting to get to. My guess is I read it next month. Looking forward to it.

I was slow at work and obviously can't listen to audiobooks so I started book 3. It's really funny and good through 24%. Same consistent humor with new jokes. So far so good.

Finished. Book 3 was my favorite of the 3.

The ending leaves a book 4 open too.

Is it you can't find a mobi version or can't find it at all?
