Waiting on uplay for my code. Did it take a while for any of you to get your code? Was hoping to be able to start this before lunch.
Playing a Martial Arts MMO with Magic while downloading basically a 3rd person shooter MMO. Slows down my download but I'm just glad I can do both smoothly.
All downloaded, will be all settled in on Thursday morning and ready to waste the day on this beta. Since I'm laid off right now, this will get my full attention all day Thursday and Friday. Who else is pumped?
I'll probably be on around 430 central tomorrow, will be down to do some NYC savin'. 4 man fireteams right?
Yes. I wonder how much we are going to get with the beta, I mean the damn thing is 26GB. It would also be kinda cool if we get to keep some of our loot from the beta and it transfers to the full game.
Someone on Reddit who played the alpha talked about how fun hunting down rogue agents was. Said once a team went rogue there would be a mass of people that would stop what they were doing and group together and go hunt them down. Sounds fun as shit.
Saving NYC from one set of thugs at a time right now. So far pretty cool, lots to explore and the enemies go down somewhat easy.
Excited for this beta and the game. It's why I built a new PC last year. Thinking about adding another GPU in SLI (GTX780Ti SC). Gonna see how it runs on my current setup in beta though. Recommended GPU is a 970 and my 780Ti beats it in almost every facet.
It took me two codes to get it to work. The first one kept saying invalid, just register again under a different email.
mine worked. said it's gonna send me an access key at some point when the beta starts. but beta has already started. so i guess we'll see
Played a good 4-5 hours of it, pretty fun game so far. Lots of customization, Really interested in the skills and how they will be effective. The dark zone is fun as hell cause you are always on your toes and you don't know who to trust. Most of the other people I've met in there are in there to get loot and not go rogue but there are some rogue agents out there but they are easily marked out. The frustrating part is sometimes it's hard to find the AI guys to take loot off of so you walk around for 10-15 minutes just trying to stir shit up. Maybe they will add more in the full game I dunno. Word of advice, stay the fuck away from the cleaners, the dudes with flamethrowers, they fuck you up quick.
I know, I didn't play anything almost all football season. Now that I have free time, and a good game is coming out, I'll be gaming almost every day after work.
I was playing with my brother and waiting at an extraction zone when I heard some kid's voice come through the microphone. Fat Kid: Extraction team? Extractiiiiiiiiiiion team? I'm sitting in a far away corner and see him come up behind my brother. FK: you're really gay for not talking. A few moments later..... FK: I could shoot you right now.... The next thing that happened was like the opening scene of robocop. He must've been hit by 60+ bullets in under 3 seconds as he started screaming bloody murder. We then let him crawl around on the ground until he bled out and we took his stuff. It was a great start to this game.
I accepted your group invite as soon as it popped up, but I joined into an empty lobby. Will you be on tonight?
Found some rare gear today in some good hiding spots not in the dark zone. In the dark zone I was extracting some of my loot and some guy came in was going to do the same, saw he was all alone. Waited till he was attaching his stuff. Hit him with a grenade and then finished him off and stole his loot. Then I realized it was some crappy gloves and a front grip that was worse than what I had. Really adds a cool element that you don't know what someone has so is it really worth going rogue and being hunted. Olemissrebel, I don't know what the hell was going on last night. I couldn't figure out how to accept your invite in the game then I thought you were on my friends list and I couldn't find you. Sorry bud.
