One thing I miss about fox soccer is the sky sports deadline day special. Would love to watch it tomorrow.
Transfer News Live @DeadlineDayLive 2m2 minutes ago IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. Stoke have rejected Marseille's bid for striker Peter Odemwingie. (Source: SkySports)
Weird... we must have something going on (injury-wise) to want to keep him last minute. Word is that Imbula is in Stoke to go over personal details. We'll be breaking our previous largest transfer (Shaqiri) after a scant 5 months.
So... in a convoluted story... but being reported by the only Stoke "insider" that I've ever trusted... Diouf is being sold to Leicester, Imbula is coming in from Marseille, van Ginkel's loan is being cancelled and he is being sent back to Chelsea... and Remy is being loaned from Chelsea to Stoke for the rest of the season.
Leroy Fer to Swansea in a loan deal. Looks like no option to buy either. Not official yet but seems very likely
Against the better sides seemed to me like your midfield just got completely snuffed out. I am not doubting your striker claim, just an observation from catching them here and there. Just kind of struck an Arsenal cord in that you had no one to step into anything or read. By no means do I know anything other watching a vacated holding midfield consistently. I think he'll help immensely. Also, side note but does any other culture/country routinely shit out players at a specific position like France? Why does that country produce so many CDMs?
Against weaker sides we possess the ball 65+ and can't find the net at all. Both areas need to be addressed. This pushes Whelan to the bench, and while I love the guy, he isn't the right piece for a team trying to get to Europa.
Haven't seen it confirmed yet but that's quite the hefty price tag. Transfer News @TrustyTransfers 2m2 minutes ago Atlétco Madrid have sold Jackson Martínez to Guangzhou Evergrande for €45million. #ATLETI (Cadena SER)
That is pretty impressive given the financial crisis that is going on right now, surprised of all transfer windows this is the one where the money starts flowing.
Ighalo turned down a 300k pound a week contract in China to stay in the PL, respect. It would have been 10x his current deal, thought to be around 30k per week. That is fucking Messi money, plain silly. God told him not to go. http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football...after-listening-to-god_sto5147651/story.shtml
Lavezzi looks to be moving to China as well. PSG vs China this summer is going to make the market spontaneously combust.
Managing one of these Chinese teams will certainly be a nightmare. For someone just starting college, double majoring in Mandarin and Portuguese would be a good idea. Someone that can speak both of those languages is probably very rare and the demand will be high for translators.
I assume anyone from Macau is a degenerate gambler that will encourage match fixing and I'd be all about that.
dunno where to put this, so i'll put it here... Joel Matip from Schalke to Liverpool this summer on a free transfer. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...lo-Toure-Transfer-News-Premier-League-Schalke
These amused me, not that they’re inaccurate because if everyone was up for grabs, then he’s correct but he’s also one of the most expensive transfers ever
