Old Spurs never even come back to take the lead after they knot it up, much less hold on. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!!!
Some definite prisoner of the moment hot takes with regards to ole' Kyle. He has been very solid this season. Trippier rounding into form the past month or so is such a bonus though, we have a legit 2 deep where there is no drop off at our fullback spots.
A lot of people gave it away fairly cheaply today, but Walker was probably the worst. City had good energy and were pressing a decent amount. In the end we got the win, so it is forgivable. One bad match won't make me completely turn on him after what has been a pretty solid season. I may start Trippier over him right now if you put a gun to my head, but it doesn't matter as I believe they will continue to rotate every other match for the remainder of the season.
I've only been following the club for 1.5 seasons, so I'm aware my opinion is from a generally small sample size and I don't know the game nearly as well as anyone else in this thread, but I'll never understand the love fest of Walker.
Is there a love fest? I think it is a general appreciation for his overall solid play this season. If you take a look at the state of right backs across the league, we could do a lot worse.
Is everyone now with me on team lets get the fuck out of Europa? I don't want to se any starters playing in these upcoming matches and I hope we don't advance past this round.
