That is just a perfect headshot for that quote. Chin slightly elevated as if he is looking down on the rest of us.
sec needs to be like "lmbo come talk to us when you stop punting on 4th and 1 from your opponent's 38 yard line"
A look at the 2015 football roster shows that–of the just over 100 players listed–California leads the way with 26 players. Of course, with Stanford being a private school, that’s a relatively low number of in-state athletes, especially considering both the number of top recruits out of California and the proximity. The guess is that public universities like California, USC, and UCLA draw a much higher percentage from within the state, and their coaches could afford to be more dismissive. The next highest state is– Georgia? 7 players on Stanford’s roster came from there, just ahead of Washington (6), Texas (5), and Arizona (5). Add in 4 from Louisiana, and a couple from various other states, and 22 players listed on last year’s roster were from states that have a SEC school within its borders. Add in 5 more from Virginia and North Carolina and over 25% of the Stanford roster is from what might be considered Paul Finebaum territory.
Assuming the Cardinal football players from those states are the sons of Yankee executives who were stationed there by northern companies to keep the local grunt labor in line.
they fled mismanaged rust belt shitholes like Ohio who can't keep industry in state and Michigan who can't keep water clean and realized the south is God's country.
Oh boy.... Greg McElroyVerified account@GVMcElroy Very interesting considering NASA has locations in Alabama, Florida, and Texas.
I'm giving you guys credit for being willing to work cheaper. I appreciate y'all accepting a lower quality of living to keep tannenite in the old lawnmower. It's not for everybody, but it works for southerners (and Mexicans).
one of my favorite oregon-stanford moments was when the duck mascot brought out a potted plant and attempted to cut it in half with a chainsaw
The plus side of that is southerners are already outhouse trained. They're still shitting on the lawn, but at least it is enclosed.
There are some really good responses to that McElroy tweet... David @misfitelf 4m4 minutes ago @GVMcElroy Respect for Shaw took a dive! This the same school Tiger went to school? Now doesn't he make you proud!! Chuck Graham @graham_chuck 1h1 hour ago @GVMcElroy we gonna get into Stanford's ass if we see 'em on the field. Dave McInnish @DMac_Innish 1h1 hour ago @GVMcElroy no kidding! Huntsville Alabama has the largest concentrated area of rocket scientist in the world! #idiot
Greg McElroy @GVMcElroy 18m18 minutes ago David Shaw is one of my favorite coaches in college football. I sincerely hope that his comments were taken out of context today.
I'm just glad Huntsville has enough locals to cook, clean and mow for those transplanted, northern-educated engineers.
We have many Mexicans and Guatemalans that we persecute at our own detriment. But I'm not sure what that has to do with anything.
