Depending on where they finish in the table this year, each team in the Premier League is going to pocket between £30-£50 million more than they did last year. Chelsea took home £99 mil for winning the league last year. The winners this year will pocket around £150 mil or more.
This number is actually way low btw. Leicester City is going to earn £80+ mil more than they did last year.
Bro read again what you quoted. Pretty sure anything remaining in France will be bought outside PSG and Monaco. Also have to assume the British premium should go up as well and Sterling's deal will look affordable.
Götze, Lewandowski and Hummels are all pussies. Marco Reus is not a pussy. Four straight seasons of Bayern pulling this stunt is criminal. They're going to do the same shit again next season with Aubameyang.
Rumor is that Gotze could go back to Dortmund along with some cash in exchange for Hummels going to Bayern.
I'm sure Dortmund fans would welcome him back with open arms cause there was no animosity when he left...wait...
I don't see how they're pussies for wanting to play for a top club but ok. Was Reus a pussy for leaving Gladbach for Dortmund?
It's because they're leaving #2 to go to #1. It's not like they're jumping from mid/bottom of the league to the top.
Kicker and L'Equipe are reporting Ousmane Dembele from Stade Rennes to Dortmund http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/2015-16/1/tm-news--12416-8760-.html
If you told me in 2004, that Joe Cole and Freddy Adu would one day play in Tampa Bay together, I would've had 2 thoughts: 1) Fuck yes. Mutiny is coming back. 2) MLS is fucking massive. What a resounding success. Well done, everyone.
From what I've read, Ousmane is the only Dembele worth keeping an eye on. And I'm including that poor sportsman of a Belgian when I say that. Kid is going to be the real deal. If he were English, he would almost certainly be in their Euro squad but with France being deeper than the Mariana Trench he probably doesn't have a prayer of getting in their 23 man roster.
I understand your pain but Ben Arfa needed the wake up call of being clubless and signing a one year deal with a lesser club.
No doubt. Just sucks to see how his career rebounded(glad it did, just wish it'd have been for Newcastle). Would have loved to see if Rafa could have done anything with him instead of Pardew
I can't tell which kind of extreme reaction he will have to the little amount of playing time he would get there. He'll either love it or hate it. I'm going to guess love. He seems like a character that would embrace a pay raise for less responsibility. And if that's the case I think it's a very smart buy for Barca.
He fits the mold. English and fragile. Maybe between he and Welbeck you'd have a decent striker for the season.
Looks like The Boy is going to be called up by Woy. I hope for the sake of your sanity it's not over a Spurs player.
He said all along he would and it's a joke. We will have at least 4 players on the squad, probably 5. Not sweating it.
Eh he is a product of Bayern's youth academy. He was there for 14 years. If Bayern had loaned him to anyone other than Dortmund then this wouldn't even be an issue. Should make for a pretty solid back line for Bayern.
Just sad in the sense that he's leaving Dortmund after being a main stay during their period of success. I don't have a gripe about it being Bayern specifically since he and his wife are from the area and like you said he is a Bayern youth product.
It's hilarious how upset this is making people. He was by far England's best player during qualifying, totally shouldn't make room for him so they can take Andy Carroll as a 5th striker or the corpse of Phil Jagielka.
The fact that 3 out of Everton's back 4 are in the mix to get in their squad should be very alarming to the English Press during this timeframe where they always overhype their chances. Everton are 15th in the Premier League goals allowed category.
