It will, but with different talents. There are too many available talents/perks to ever get the same thing twice
Yeah. I think that will be one of the main ones. Guess it will depend on how easy it is to hit the cap with native armor. My initial thoughts are the juggernaut 20% armor bonus is going to let me use all of my mods on skill power which will get me about an extra 10k there. So I will be running around with 75% mitigation, 30k+ skill power, not sure on DPS but it should be respectable over 200k with the bonus I get from the overheal with weapon damage and the crit chance from savage.
I love the Aug but I am thinking by the time it comes around might be about time I make lvl75 and look for a MP5 print in the DZ.
Just think about what a Pulse can do to bring your dps up running that high of a skill build. One guy mentioned with a high enough pulse he was taking his dps to over 300k from like 150 or something today.
Yeah. I could run pulse and the weapon damage overheal or I could even run a pretty badass smart cover. Feel like I wouldn't be losing much from my current build besides the 4 piece sentry bonus.
Ok, gave me something to chew on What I really need is someone on Xbox to get in my game and talk me through it all. Like I am 10 btw
Next week's patch is going to include the ability to hijack extractions, presumably making the DZ much more of a grief zone
While that isn't ideal I don't think it is make or break for me. I am pretty careful extracting and when I am seriously farming my route usually takes me to the DZ05 extraction that is usually vacant and easier to defend. Although I can definitely see the issue with tanks popping survivor link and just running to cut the rope. To be honest I am just happy to see some changes without a new raising of the gear score. Will give all of us who didn't shoot sticky bombs at the APC and exploit a chance to catch up to some of the 15-20 240 gear shitheads and the early DZ exploiters who had the rank 75 to purchase a 204 God roll AUG. Also apparently level 34 shotgunners/snipers are getting a DPS nerf which will help offset us not having sentry 4 piece bonus.
Feel free to add me. GT is MercurE on XB Live. I play a lot with the crew 47 straight has put together and it is normally pretty entertaining. I am happy to help. Gin Buckets is one a few guys have stepped in to help him gear up. I just got my stats to 250k/80k/13k and am pretty pleased running a sentry set until the next update fucks that all up. Then it is back to the drawing board.
Honestly, for the first three weeks, I thought this was possible, and when running solo in the DZ, I would sit and wait and watch my gear until it extracted into the chopper. It will definitely be interesting to see what people do with the new DZ bracket. If people run a 195-199 GS to be the top dog in the 161+ bracket, or if they are willing to go to 203 or so to get the better drops in the 200+ bracket with the threat of being the small fish in the big pond.
Props to THF and everyone else in Rogue Nation. Having them walk me through the missions and then THF explaining how to roll gear and shit like that made a really big difference. I'm currently sitting at 215k/67k/10k
I'm 201 but my load out is shit. I bought all the 214 Nomad gear because I thought that extra revive would actually work. I'm hoping I get something that will drop to replace it with, but it's been a solid month of 163 / 191 gear that significantly drops stats. I've been avoiding going into the DZ solo anyway (so this week I've not gone in at all)
I will be in 200+ for sure. Also read these 2 comments and laughed really hard: Love the people who troll the griefers right back. [/QUOTE] Wish I could get on with you more on your time. First thing I would recommend for your 1.2 build is to just go to the DZ02 safehouse and get yourself the 204 glove blueprints (firearms or stamina are both there). I think many builds will include having 204 gloves with the savage talent on it. Also get rid of that damn nomad set. Been telling you that for awhile now. ;) Think my plan is just to farm the DZ05/06 this week for materials in anticipation for 1.2 once I finish my challenge incursions for the week.
When I go rogue hunting, I will pick up all kinds of blues and greens and I just bought those gloves and I love them. Trofie was saying the lvl 32 extended mag in the DZ vendor is also worth picking up over the lvl 30 at the BoO.
Trash em or sell em. I got 214 tactitian gloves this week in the incursion. I will never use gloves with only category bonuses. No sense in keeping them.
PSA: DO NOT BUY LEVEL 32 WEAPON MODS!!! The improvement from 31 to 32 is minimal and the cost of materials to craft them is not worth it. For example, here is the difference between 31 and 32 crit hit chance, crit damage and weapon damage. You had better be on your last min/max pieces to be shooting for this. 6,5 - 8 %6,5 - 8 % 30 - 37 %31 - 38 % 11 - 13,5 %11 - 14 %
winorlose9 , Step up your wardrobe game. Go to express and have an chick employee help you chose 3-4 jeans (about 60.00 each and make sure they fit well).... Jk, but the gloves will be a good start. I don't think you will need to buy the second blueprint. I would save and see if the firearms/stamina chest piece comes around this Friday. I don't think I would try and fix the build all the way yet until we know what the new sets will bring. As I said before the current idea is to run 3 striker, 2 sentry, and then 204 savage gloves. But without knowing what the others bring that is a problem. Other option would be for you to go full support with a 4 piece tacticians and I could use you in challenge incursion runs then. And in the dark zone you could be pulsing/smart cover/over healing/sticky people.
I have prototype firearms and love it. 101-131 base to 131-161 base is incredible. Add +100 is equivalent to about 10k. Let me change a my firearm glove to stamina and raised everything.
I am not talking about gear mods which crafting level 32 is well worth it. I am talking about level 32 weapon mods.
Gotcha. I bought the 32 extended mag and crafted it 7 times and only got 1 better mag and it was slight. (5k dps bump)
Does your GT start with an S? I got an invite tonight but thought it was a group of rogues we had been killing relentlessly. I hadn't accepted it yet. Good times tonight. I definitely need to tweak some of my gear back. Got my dps too low I think.
It does, I am also pretty sure I know that group too since at one point we were in that same dark zone Do you remember the tag buttered cereal? His group kept talking shut and we kept hunting him down. I killed him twice but my buddy got him 6 times
Gotta admit with all the information coming out about 1.2 I am getting excited about this game. Massive listened to a lot of stuff the community seemed to want and is trying to implement it. The new gear sets don't really seem like my thing, but I am glad they made other weapons more usable with those talents. The rope cutting mechanic seems to be well done. The only worry is if the pushback mechanic hurts us in PVE with revive. Really just excited to see what this brings. Big fan of the delayed challenge mode and also a big fan that we are all going to be able to gear up a lot easier. Stole this wall of text summarizing things from the reddit site:
It looks like the predator could be very deadly with a good Assault Rifle especially with the Bleed factor and added damage to the rifle.
That sounds great, should be good. I've started to level another character just because none of my friends play it anymore. Capped out around 185 gear score.
Was thinking about leveling another alt, but with the way loot is supposed to drop not sure if it is needed.
Did think about the PVP application of the new pushback mechanic. Now you won't be able to just pop survivor link and revive a downed teammate, steal a supply drop, or cut the rope.
Stash added to checkpoints is a godsend. Can you explain this? I don't get it... You saying survivor link won't let you interact with the game?
When you interact with the rope or supply drops there is a timer. It is supposed to take 6 seconds or so to claim a drop/cut the rope. But when you get shot while the timer is going it is going to push the timer back. So you can't just pop survivor link, be invincible, run in and cut the rope with no issues. You are going to be rogue and players are going to be lighting you up pushing the timer back.
The concern is if you start to revive someone and get shot, it restarts the timer. Meaning it may be impossible to revive someone while under fire and exposed.
https://m.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/4kolxi/update_12_conflict_patch_notes/ Patch notes for 1.2. I holy shitted myself at bug fix where it says the small Rds scope can now roll weapon damage like it is supposed to. Going to be rolling a new one for sure now. These changes all seem to be very good. Can't wait till tomorrow and hope this game is taking the step in the right direction.
I bought mine in DZ06 before 1.1 hit. My guess would be there is a level 31 possibly being sold for phoenix credits from the special vendor in the BOO?
Xbox crew still having issues doing the incursion on challenging? At least with 1.2 you won't have to do it on there to get the best loot. And well 34 shotgunners/snipers will be nerfed so it shouldn't be that hard.
I didn't even bother trying the Incursion on Challenging. I have stopped using Nomad gear all together and nerfed my gear score to 193. In the process it 'cost' me 5k health and 9k electronics, but I THINK I have some talents that actually work now.
Yep my friends and I still haven't beaten the incursion on any difficulty. Who on PS4 wants to take me under their wing and beat it?
I might not be the best to do it with on Hard. It is pretty easy so I just fuck around and don't stay in the pit like everyone else. Problem there is that it can lead to me being an asshole and sometimes dying in hard to reach spots.
This is me. I've only gone down outside the pit once though. I'm always the bomb getter and runner too. I let everyone else hang back. It's super easy on hard. Just haven't had a successful run at challenging I'm currently 253/100/22 + max armor + 50% crit chance
I'm fully planning on retrying the Incursion on challenging tonight. With the right crew it's doable, I just wasn't having luck doing it with strangers.
The reset already happened, right? You should wait for the 1.2 patch or your screwing yourself out of a loot drop
