These are currently nine historical novels about the wars for the islands making up Great Britain in the 9th and 10th centuries, told as the story of one Saxon warrior (a real warrior whom the author is descended from). They're great, the BBC is making a Last Kingdom series based on them, and the author cranks out a new book every year and is desparate to finish them so you don't have to worry about the BBC passing him up while he stuffs his fat grill full of Japanese girls' panties. Anybody else current on these? I'm finishing up the 9th right now.
I just bought the first one on Amazon for $5. I love the series on Netflix. Looking forward to the book.
