Anyone start watching this? All the reviews said it was unlike anything else on TV, and through the first episode, the critics are right. I am not a big fan of Kutcher but he isn't bad so far, and Sam Elliot is just great. It's really odd seeing a show so much swearing have a laugh track. In fact, I am not sure what the last show I watched with a laugh track (not counting re-runs of old shows). I'll definitely watch the full season though.
1999 back up to the back up National Championship QB. You could argue that Jared Jones was the back up, with Marcus Outzen being the back up to the back up.....Rooster.
Watched the first episode. Thought it was pretty meh. The laugh track was dumb. Wasn't terrible, but didnt feel the need to watch more. I'll probably come back to it at some point.
I am happy I watched for Heather's magnificent jammers alone. And, just to be upfront, she does not go topless during the season. They are still worth the watch, IMO.
finished season last night. hated the laugh over, acting was bad, accents were worse, jokes were corny, but for some reason it was my guilty pleasure. look forward to season 2
Didn't make it past the first two minutes. Worst two minutes of TV I've ever seen. The laugh track is horrendous, but the sad part is the shitty jokes would be even worse without it. /hot take
Watching this tonight, it's corny with bad jokes and worse accents but I am laughing periodically and have been entertained enough by it.
I really wish there was a version of this show without the laugh track. I think it would actually be significantly improved without it
This season definitely tried to have more serious shit go down. Still enjoyed it though. Is there going to be a part three?
Part two was pretty good, I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the first part mostly as a guilty pleasure, but second part showed a good bit of maturity and was a well-balanced blend of serious material and the stupidity that defined part one. Tanya Showers is very bangable, how the fuck does Kenny get Elisa Cuthbert and her? Hoping Fez is a regular going forward. Beau and Joanne have a really good chemistry. Great give and take between the two, reminds me a bit of Sam Malone and Diane Chambers. Glad to see she is starting to rub off on him some. The final scene was one hell of a way to end part two.
Mrs and I binged all 20. Started slow but got really funny and enjoyable. Kutcher and Cuthbert are meh but the rest of the characters are great.
So they are having a promotion at this bar in Nashville for season 3. Free to get in and open bar. It's been fun. Ashton and Danny have already been on stage and were funny as hell.
It didnt make sense to me at all. Like dude yall are these backwoods hillbilly ranchers with guns all over. This ex con is threatening you and your family, handle that shit. They should have had rooster take the fall for the generator (moment of compassion since Colt is married and having a baby) and get locked up under some mandatory minimum guidelines. Would have been more believable.
Finished last night. Funniest character* is gone (in dumbest way possible, all they had to do was send him to prison over generator) and show got waaay too serious. *fuck him if allegations are true
Part 8 felt really rushed. Liked the ending, though it felt rushed Spoiler odd that most of the conclusions happened off screen. The probation ruling, the swap of cattle for the ranch. Just felt like they wanted to end it and did. Also, did colt give up ranching? He doesnt have any cattle now. Overall, an ok series. Something I didn't mind watching with my wife. Nothing memorable but wasn't painful to watch [\spoiler]
