Plenty of people still go rogue, but you still have the idiots who start shit but won't go rogue themselves. Nothing better than mowing down a couple of shitheads waiting outside of a checkpoint who are sitting there shooting me with a pistol to keep me in combat.
Are you going to be around this weekend? My friends list seems to be empty these days and I'd really like to run some DZ06. Or try to kill some rogues (I'm sitting at 9 kills and 20 gets me a platinum trophy apparently)
These people are the worst. The checkpoint campers are also the worst. I won't even kill someone if they're just standing there. It's for the weak. I want to chase and murder the bullies.
Yeah, I should be on this weekend and either of those activities are good for me. You should do the Falcon Lost challenge mode too. Still on the look out for for a 204 MP7, upgraded Sentry/Striker gear, and Tactitians gear that doesn't come with electronics on it.
I know this matters not to many in here, but for the casual Division players the HVT missions have been a blessing. Multiple 214 drops, tons of 182 guns, an occasional 204 gun. Started the night as a 187 GS ended up a 201.
Stop being a filthy casual!!!!! No really, I only did a few so far. I spend more time in dz to get gear, so tell me is there a reason to do the hvt's ? Is there a use for Phoenix credits?
I just use it as a way to get gear drops without getting butt diddled in the DZ. I'm most likely just bad at the game.
Ran dsl with backinblack23 and two randoms but he didn't have a Mic and they sucked and my game froze
Yeah I will finally have time to get my mic problem fixed this week. I need to get some better gear cause I go down way to easy in the DZ against rogues, is the best way to just keep sticking to the DZ or if you guys could help me run the incursion that would be great.
We ran the incursion in no time at all last night but got 214 gear I am stuck around 200k dps and 280 toughness and can seem to get higher. Wanted to buy some mods since I am 80 in dz but they just have the crappy electronics one Also seem to end up rerolling worse stats on gear
So Massive secretly nerfed crit chance on pulse/savage gloves so that they no longer go over the cap of 60% chance. So plan your builds accordingly.
Got some good shit in the challenging mission daily today actually. Got a new SMG-9(?), shotgun, and AK that I'm actually using.
I haven't been getting shit lately. I even picked up 2 pieces of 240 gear in the DZ and the were considerably worse than my 214 gear. I'm stuck on 165 DPS and 220 toughness and can't get any higher no matter what I try or loot. Hopefully when we run through the incursion I can get some better shit.
I have like 4 different sets I am wanting to build around and multiple weapons I am looking for with certain talents and I am still not getting much of anything. Most frustrating is the search for a 204 AUG, MP5, LVOA-C, ACR, Vector, or MP7(I honestly would take a 182 of these I want one so badly) with some combo of Brutal, Deadly, Responsive, Self Preserved in the first 2 slots, with any of those and Fierce, Compotent, Skilled, Predatory, Unforgiving, Sustainted, Determined, or hell even Vicious/Unforgiving even though I hate the qualifiers. So much RNG on these damn weapon combos between the damage, talents, crit hit chance it is ridiculous we can't even have a shot to roll one talent to something else.
I agree, I hate finally getting a 204 weapon and it does worse damage and the talents are absolute crap compared to what I have. I would love a chance to roll a talent and I wish when you deconstructed something that you crafted you could get back around half of the items it took to craft said item.
Crafting bottleneck is now hilariously electronics and tools. So even if I want to craft anything I can't because I don't have any. I now have over 700 gold division tech that I can absolute dick with. Massive needs to allow me to take that and convert that to materials or give me back my blue/green division tech that I can craft items with. Because buffing up LMG and shotgun drops that I don't want to use with my build isn't doing me or anyone any favors.
Anyone run an all skill build? Our group needs help in the challenge mode. Something where we can constantly pulse
where is everyone getting all this 240 gear, I had one piece and it was crap. Is it only available in the DZ or where can I get some. Last night me and 3 randoms beat the new incursion 3 times and I got the same thing twice and the third set of gloves was worse than what I had.
- DZ 05/06 bosses drop only 240 or 204 gear. Same with supply drops in those zones. - Supply drops and set caches in lower DZ's also have a chance to give 240 gear, but it is much lower. - You get like 3 pieces of 240 gear for doing the challenging incursions. - You can get 240 gear from doing the weekly HVT missions. But most likely it will be crappy Lone Star gear.
Weapon balancing for 1.3. This pvp meta might suck worse than the tanktician one we have no. SMGs = Critical Hit Damage Bonus (Critical Hit Chance Goes Away) Assault Rifles = +/-20% Armor Shred To PvE Targets Only LMG = +/-30% more damage to ALL targets out of cover Shotguns = +/- 200% Added Stagger To PvE targets only Marksman Rifles = Keep Headshot Damage
Got it figured out, had to go into actual Xbox settings and change my chat volume, it was only set at 40% for some reason.
I've been running with a good group of guys in the DZ and have been getting some good gear so I finally got my toughness up to 390,000 and cps around 148,000. So now I can run with you big boys on here. Plus I got my mic situation all figured out so hit me up if you guys need another. GT hawkeye2323
Yup. Just kept sticking the carrot out there and then you would get your set even somewhat competent then they nerfed it. I stopped midway during 1.2 because of the Tanktician meta and it appears that hasn't gotten any better.
I've said this before in other forums. 1.2 really set this game back to terrible levels. 1.3 has taken a step forward but not enough to compensate for the damage done by 1.2 They should've made 1.3 the update for 1.2 if there goal was to get new users into the game and to allow them to gear up and compete with lifer's. That way new gamers could go to the underground for a few days of game play gear up with some new shit and battle. Nurffing the hard work guys who started the game from start was so terrible. We had a crew of 5-12 guys who would be on night and day.... since 1.2 we are down to basically 3. Shit sucks
They nerfed out straight up gun fights completely. 1.3 added gear sets that gives your entire teams special bullets. So basically, one guy runs that set, hits consecutive bullets and your entire squad is shooting incendiary bullets. I used to hit 80k-130k hit point with my smg. Now I get 12-50k even though my firearm score is at 4000. They didn't nerf tanctician or the NPCs. It's so absurdly bad
I'm slowly getting away from it as well. It sucks that casual solo guys like me just can't catch up to the guys who play non-stop. The one thing I hate is only having certain gear drop in certain activities. I don't have but a few guys to run in the DZ and I can't run solo past DZ 3-4 with out getting steam rolled by the NPC's, or merked by a group a dipshit griefers. Then in the underground you get gear sets that really no one wants and then or it takes forever for a decent piece to drop. If they would just do a few fixes they could make this game so much better. 1-Nerf the shotgun NPC's or make our shotguns have the same effect on just the NPC's. If they can one shot me, why can't I one shot them? 2- Make the gear sets drop equally over the entire game. That way I can get some 268 striker gear or tactician gear in the underground or incursions etc. 3-They need a separate DZ just for PVP play. You can make them the exact same layout and everything. Same landmarks, same hordes of NPC's and so on. But in one of them PVP fire does no damage to the other player. This way you can still run a group of four and if you run into other groups you can team up to take out bosses. Then in the PVP one anything goes and keep the rewards for killing rogues or going rogue. This way people know what they are in for, IF you survive a manhunt you get lots of XP and cash, but if you die you lose lots.
Not sure what game you guys are playing, I love 1.3 and the new gear sets, the underground is great for all the solo guys that didn't want the PvP dark zone, you can make it easy or super hard. Yeah the npc's in dz 5/6 are murder but that's what makes it a challenge
yea 1.3 actually got me back into it because the special stashes you get each time you level up in the underground finally started giving me decent shit. and since I was so far behind all the douches in the DZ if (and it was super fucking rare) I ever got something halfway decent I would get killed on the way to the extraction zone or have someone cut the cord. been undergrounding (which the underground missions are fun as hell ) the last 3 nights and have gone from ~75/240/15 to ~175/320/17 and have a great AR/SMG/Sniper. So now I can finally run excursions and daily challenge without being absolutely worthless to my team. Agree that Reclaimer 4-piece bonus is absurd but it helps a ton for people with under 100K DPS that actually want to play the entire game and not just limp dick around. And am I reading that 80k-130k like per bullet with an SMG? I mean..... if that was the case then thank god they knocked it down to 12-50k because that's pretty stupid damage to be dealing with an SMG to begin with
It is. That's the HP against NPC's. Not even sure what it was against users (a few thousand) because I just measured my power on NPC hits. It's how I knew if I was truly helping my DPS. Your 175 DPS that you recently got to is likely not a true DPS. It's calculating MAX HP. Meaning, a quicker reload will inflate the DPS #, same as accuracy. 1.2 & 1.3 probably helped them make more money over the longevity bc those who poured in countless hours early were nerfed and ultimately quit. Which breathes new life into those who played the game on occasion and/or are new to it. Best part of the game for me is PVP with the guy I had built. Now, PVP matchups are gunfights that last until someone runs out of bullets/medkits. Once out, the fight isn't over, the person short on shit takes off running for 10-15 minutes while popping overdose. Eventually, they either die to NPC or finally another group of users heads the run off and you kill them. Completely worthless.
