Only one more episode. Damn, this show has flown by this season. I think it has moved better due to the lack of focus on Abraham. He's kind of the least interesting character, not that I dislike him.
Simcoe v Hewlett is the best part of the season so far. They can only do Abraham almost getting outed then doesn't so many times. I'd also like to see more of a direct payoff from Abe's info.
Robert Rogers is pretty boss. Abe managed to go from a fairly awful shot in his duel vs. Simcoe back in the day to an expert marksman who is able to drop a man riding on horse back at a brisk pace though, so he has that going for him.
Dammit I knew it was Rogers. Now we have to wait a year to figure out how he tries to use Woodhall as bait.
So has Rogers "flipped" and will use Abe to get Andre? Or will Rogers try and use this to gain favor back with the King? I know what ultimately happens to Andre in the historical timeline but I just feel like this is a really weird way to play the storyline.
Glad my boy Burn Gorman is still on the show. Didn't see how they could end this season with him and Simcoe alive, but I'm glad they made it. That scene with Andre's girl getting the Khaleesi treatment was awkward.
Yeah, I thought it was a solid start. The more Rogers, the better. Have always enjoyed that guy as an actor. Plus, he looks like the lost fat Gallagher brother from Oasis (he basically plays the part like Liam and Noel anyway). The dad is trying to get Abe caught up as a motherfucker though. As soon as the door opened and Simcoe was standing there, I was all And Col Andre is still a top level boss.
Fuck Abraham's Dad Fuck Simcoe John Andre is awesome Abraham is meh Abraham's wife is terrible Ana is cool just because I've seen those titties when she played on Boardwalk Empire, wish AMC could give us some of that action. Benedict Arnold is a sad story how he is being played Robert Rogers is awesome and I hope we get a lot of him this season I am very curious as to how Abraham is going to get himself out of this pickle in the coming episodes.
Shit is about to jump off next week. I fear it will backfire and Hewlett is going to get got. He has to go one way or the other now that he knows.
This show is criminally underrated. I am interested to see what happens now that Simcoe believes Robert Rogers to be Culper.
As much as I loathe Simcoe he is a great character and I feel the show will suffer as a result if he is killed off. John Andre is my favorite by far.... Just sucks that we all know what will inevitably happen to him. Benjamin talmadge is one of my least favorite characters as he seems to get himself into some of the most odd situation by just not being observant.
This episode annoyed me. Everything that failed was pretty obviously going to fail from the start... The whole time Ben is dealing with the preacher you were just hoping for him to wrap it up and gtfo And why is Caleb's crew so fucking stupid? I mean they weren't even effectively keeping their weapons out of the windows while they were ostensibly "hiding". Awesome escape by Rogers while Simcoe simcoe'd
He's got one eye! Dude playing Simcoe is awesome. Simcoe is a douche but he obviously is neva scared.
Nope I'm still on board. Felt weird without simcoe and Rogers two episodes ago, but last night was superb. Liking the Quakers storyline
Still watching, still enjoying. I'm wondering if the Loyalist woman Benjamin slept with will show back up later.
just watched Season 3 episode 8. I have liked this season much more than the other 2. I'm actually dvd'ing it and not waiting until the Netflix release. Worth the watch, because the character development has really picked up with most of the cast now.
This season has been great. It is disheartening that a show this good gets such low ratings. I can't see how AMC brings it back another season unless it's purely a pet project for someone there or they think of it as a prestigious series in some way.
