Tommy didn't do anything. because they killed the priest and the other guy from the Economic League the remaining members who control everything had all the family members arrested as payback.
Polly quickly became the worst character on the show. Just randomly saying shit for no apparent reason
At the end of season 3 Tommy informed them of what was going to happen, he said to not worry that he made a deal, who is he talking about or what is he talking about?
Maybe he made a deal with Churchill to do something else for them when he knew they were going to have him arrested? I binged watched the whole season so I'm sure I missed a lot.
That scene in the finale with Tommy and Alfie was as intense as anything I've ever watched. Spoiler I was convinced Tommy was gonna blow his brains out. Glad he didn't, because that just means one more season with Tom Hardy (hopefully). Tom Hardy.
Fast forwarded anytime Pol came on screen with that dude that painted her. Don't care about her at all
I agree that Michael will be a big character going forward. Tom Hardy is also excellent - wish he had more screen time. The finale was amazing. I hate that the season is only 6 episodes because they packed a lot of plots into that finale episode.
As many huge, blockbuster movies as Tom Hardy has been in, this show has done more to convince me of his acting prowess than any of them.
Just got done with the season 3, Tom Hardy completely dominated every scene he was in. Thought the whole season was great.
Polly needs to get got next season. Fuck her for having a big mouth and causing all this shit to go down like this.
Episode 5 breakfast scene killed me. First he has a ridiculous breakfast spread on the table and smokes a stog instead. Then the naked old lady reading the bible call out FOH
already planning a rewatch. and after reading this page, I'm kinda curious how many times Tommy has said on the show "I've made a deal...."
I just finished season 3 and I have to say that I am pretty damn confused by the entire season. I love the show and there are some awesome scenes, but this was my least favorite season of the three. I definitely need to go back and rewatch, because there was so much dialog that I struggled to understand compared to past seasons.
I struggle too. Most british shows, I get use to the accents after a couple episodes. This show is still really hard for me to understand. Probably should start watching w closed captions on
I just went to Reddit to see what I missed, and apparently it's not just the dialog. The season had a very complicated plot and there were some subtleties in what was said that could have been assumed but was not 100% clear. For example, the priest storyline had me really confused in terms of why Michael wanted to be the one to kill him.
I assumed that was the case, but I couldn't figure out the connection. Do you know which episode that was revealed in?
I started watching it on BBC so was reading the episode recaps after each. In general, I think those are helpful for this show. Would recommend to anyone who gets slightly confused b/c of the accents and/or plot.
