Euron has to come into play with Dany on her way to Westeros. Thinking we see some kind of epic naval battle next season. I don't think they would have introduced Euron this late in the game without him playing a more significant role.
Euron is sailing straight for the Iron Throne. Why wouldn't he? It's open for the taking. Dany takes it from him
I'm guessing the characters only find out about Jon's parentage through an interaction with he and the dragons
He's gonna get to Mereen and take over so Dany will turn around and we'll get stuck there for another three seasons.
I really feel like most of the episode was lazy writing Spoiler: Spoiler Just kidding that was a fucking perfect season finale
Feel like they pretty much foreshadowed Cersei being good as dead by having her change to wearing black before her trial, long live the queen chant not helping things
lots of gratifying deaths in this episode. High Sparrow, Walter Frey, Tommen...... but then we had to lose Margaery as well and that made me sad :'(
So Jon's most immediate threat has to be little finger correct? He did not expect the room to unite around Jon Snow.
i have a hard time understanding what will drive the north and the south of westeros together unless it's secondary characters like Theon/Starks and Brienne/Jaime. Dany wants the Iron Throne/Kings Landing. Jon wants to defend against the Night King. I get what will unite them - the looming danger of the Night King and that threat. But I don't see what will cause the south to really care about the north. They'll maybe send a letter saying, "Hey, why don't you care about the realm's new queen?" and the northerners say, "sorry, too busy fighting ice monsters?"
Fantastic TV. I would rather watch that than any movie out there. These last two episodes have been amazing and I doubt it's a coincidence they were directed by the same person. Can't believe I'm a grown man saying this but every scene was... beautiful. The cinematography or whatever movie geeks call it was fantastic in terms of the images and scenery. Unlike others, I actually enjoyed the music heading into the Kings Landing sparrow roast -- it was creepily soothing which made the firestorm more dramatic. Also, I love to hate Cersei. Good grief I've become an artsy fartsy ninny.
When the Mountain when to Tommen's room, I was sure he was there to kill him. When he walked in I was like "damn Cersei is cold blooded."
He totally expected this to happen He thinks this will drive Sansa towards him when she figures out there is no real future for her in Winterfell as long as Jon is there
Yeah, I was hoping Sansa would shank him but it looks like he'll be conspiring against Jon next year. I think it'll be cool though to juxtapose the way he played Ned with how he'll attempt to go after Jon. Jon has still has a lot of Ned in him but I don't think the same tricks will work against him now.
Tyrion has been to the Wall and knows how honorable Jon is. If he's somehow convinced that the threat is real, I imagine that he can convince Dany as her Hand.
The show definitely gave me a be careful what you wish for there with Margaery dying. I'm coping with it by sending Dany a raven saying whaddup since she's single again Wonder how Ser Pounce is going to react to everything in KL. definitely will be a player to watch next season Between all the big deaths and her last few scenes Lady Oleanna climbing my favorite character power rankings pretty quickly. "You look like an angry little boy" killed me
Also if you royally piss off the lannisters best not congregate with all your loved ones in a central location.
Cersei got all her kids killed and drove 2 ancient enemies and 2 of the most powerful houses in westeros. into an alliance under the dragon queen. And all she got was an uncomfortable chair.
Everything has pretty much been said already. Just a fantastic episode. I was thinking Jaime put that chick up to killing Frey. Had no idea it was going to be Arya.
Was interested in seeing what margery's plan was to free loras and then he confessed. lol nope all blown up k thx
I doubt it. He knows she loved Tommen per the speech he gave Edmure in the tent. Lannisters do what they have to do to survive. That's what she did. Can't predict your son being bitchmade. Eventually he'll see it as his family being more powerful and probably a good reason to RDNI to try and pop an heir out real quick
