I like most loved Lyanna Mormont's role in season 6. I look forward to the writers linking Jorah and Lyanna back together somehow in Season 7. Just my personal opinion on that, I think happens. By the way this was pointed out to me last night and I am not sure if it has been discussed in here, but did anyone see the shield Jon Snow was using to block Ramsay's arrows, see below. That's a house Mormont shield. One of the 40-50 men she brought made it up to the castle with Jon.
Lyanna Mormont 2016 - Make the Kingdom Great Again Spoiler One thing that did stick out/slightly bother me about the Mormont connection. When meeting with her originally, why didn't Jon mention having Longclaw, the Mormont ancestral sword?
He was a suspicious kid running away, idk. Also they probably needed someone to discover the wildfire plot. The sept just blowing up wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining as that big dramatic buildup to it was.
True, however he was en route to go bring Cersei to be "judged" and he ditches that to go chase after a little kid running down the street?
no he knew that something was going on and figured they would need more than three guys to get Cersei and bring her to the sept
Was definitely a stretch, but how else do you get an important character down there to reveal the wildfire in such a dramatic fashion?
It's just that I don't care and I can't imagine anyone else caring. It's such a trivial complaint Edit add on duck fuck yada yada He may not even be complainING but I've seen the complaint enough for it to become annoying
Yes. i'm of the opinion that Night King that we see is an ancient stark; I think it's this guy http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Brandon_of_the_Bloody_Blade
Shit I dont blame him for chasing after the little kid and sending the others to get Cersei. Last time he went to get her the Mountain ripped off some dudes head. "Hey guys that kid looks suspicious as fuck. Im gonna see what hes doing yall go ahead and get Cersei." I would have done the same damn thing
"Hey guys that kid looks suspicious as fuck. I need to go check on something no where near either of these situations. Qyburn's little birds seem murdery lately."
They're called quotation marks, Fidelio. Use them. But for real, Ive always been a big fan of Julian Glover.
Pycelle was one of my least favorite characters, so I was so happy watching him get stabbed to death.
I've watched Winds of Winter at least 6 times this week. What a satisfying conclusion to this season. I've never wanted a new season as bad as S7 of GOT
I just started a rewatch from episode 1. Fun things the 2nd time around. Cersei saying arya needs to be punished, Robert responding with "what shall I do, whip her through the streets?". Also theon and Tyrian back and forth "nothing prettier than watching sailors burn alive".
Waiting for winter-like weather http://www.nme.com/filmandtv/news/-game-of-thrones-season-seven-has-been-delayed/411403
just rewatched episode 9 and 10. it cannot be overstated enough how great the battle scene was in 9 and the music in 10
In 45+ years of watching television, have never seen anything to best episodes 9&10.6 Nothing quite like foot soldiers being mowed down by a horse in full stride...
Doing a rewatch for the 1st time..I am only like 3 episodes in, but I never noticed the significance of Cersei telling Cat about losing her 1st child and how it was dark haired. She obviously killed it, correct?
Probably. It never happened in the books but early in her marriage she knew she had gotten knocked up by Robert, Jaime and her found a solution (guessing moon tea or something). To me this was the writers trying to spell it out to the audience that maybe the other 3 aren't Roberts.
It doesn't make sense to premiere it in april anyway. that is spring and summer. they should start the show in november.
GoT has a huge following but there is a 3 letter reason that no huge shows are on Sunday nights in the fall...
