Went to a wedding in Hershey, PA a few weeks back. Was pleasantly surprised to find the tröegs brewery like 5min from our hotel. Stayed the night before in Pittsburgh - had a great meal at butcher and the rye, and overall dug our stay there. Had a sick breakfast at the oakmont bakery on our way out of town. Hit fat heads again on our way there, that place is kinda a must stop when heading east on I-80. We did well, B1G country.
google tells me it's the atlantic coast conference. you may be familiar with some of the teams in that conference.
I don't believe you can get the ACC Network in Pittsburgh, but the Big Ten Network is basic digital programming. Whose country is that?
Yes. It makes a series of sounds. Usually starting with creaks, then loud cracks and snaps followed by a long errrrrrrrr, and then a big whooomph!
My wife used to live right by Blommer Chocolate Company in Chicago. It was a nice smell, usually, but on hot days it was just too much.
Why is this a thing? http://www.freep.com/story/entertai...lburgers-debuts-big-crowd-greektown/88761884/
Guys, I celebrated the start of the B1G conference slate on Saturday with a big pot of Skyline chili. My bowels are still celebrating!!
Last time I was up in Wisconsin I picked up one of these. Hinterland is starting to spread a bit more across the midwest. When the winter rolls around their Luna Stout is also very good.
Where in Cleveland should I eat? Will be there this weekend. Mostly looking for Friday lunch suggestions or suggestions for stuff to eat downtown. TIA.
Yes. They're known for the Galley Boy but being a picky eater and being skeptical of their special sauces I just get double cheeseburger and it's phenomenal. My favorite burger anywhere If you ended up going, I also suggest trying the California or Florida to drink depending on how you feel about grape or orange flavored soda
I'm not really a soda guy. I basically drink Diet Coke -- I don't like sugary drinks. But yeah, I might check it out. I'm staying over by the airport and spending most of my time downtown after visiting the grandparents on Thursday.
I live 15 minutes from a Swenson's and I've never been. It's just fast food to me. Around my area (Brecksville/Broadview Heights), go to Whitey's in Richfield. It's cash only, but holy fuck, they have some amazing food. https://www.facebook.com/pg/whiteysburgers/about/?ref=page_internal
Slyman's is a little east of downtown, but is an awesome lunch spot. If you like classic deli sandwiches, you'll love it. I've been to Urban Farmer a few times and really liked it. It's an up scale lunch, steaks and such. If you're in the mood for Mexican, Momocho in Ohio City is solid. Barrio is downtown and good as well. Sokolowskis is an awesome Polish restaurant with all the classics. Just a little south of downtown. I haven't been to many sushi places downtown, but I did stop with a buddy at Parrallax and liked it a lot.
