I forgot Craig Robinson was going to be on this season. Never seen him in anything other than comedies, should be interesting.
What happened after Tyrell's wife was listening to the music box? My direct tv just off the last couple of minutes
Baby started crying so she went to tend to it. Phone that came with the music box rang but she wasn't there to answer. Cut to Elliot at his church group and he kinda nods off then it cuts to a whole new scene with Elliot standing up on the phone and it's ringing then someone picks up, Elliot says hello, voice responds "Is it really you?", Elliot responds with "Who is this?" and the person responds with a bit of laughter then the Tyrell signature "Bonsoir, Elliot."
I actually noticed these sconces while re-watching last night and thought to go back to look at what Krista's office looked like in season 1 but it was like 3AM so I ended up just going to bed. Sure enough, someone on reddit noticed it too and put it together. Possible proof of the prison/psych ward theory... Spoiler
Just got around to watching the after show thing with Greenwald and the cast. He asked them all to describe in one word their character this season. Rami said committed...
Just watched "White Rose." Holy shit. I'm hooked. Suspected it from the minute he pushed him off the pier at the boardwalk. Missed the Darlene connection though.
Love this damn show. And I can definitely see the psyche ward or prison case being plausible. Great find.
Love how Greenwald was such a cunt about aftershows when AMC started doing them to the point where he wrote a column about it, and now his twerpy little ass is hosting two separate ones on different networks.
Bump for episode 2 tonight. Any thought of what might happen tonight? Do we finally find out where/who Tyrell is? I thought I heard that this was going to be the lightest and funniest episode of the 2nd season. F that, give me the dark shit.
After re-watching I'm sold on the asylum/prison theory. When Gideon goes to speak with him, it's exactly like the discussion is happening with glass between them in a prison. Gideon even looks behind himself several times whenever they get loud as if he is worried someone will hear them. And Craig Robinson definitely seems like a therapist/psychiatrist trying to get him to talk.
This is also strange: http://i.imgur.com/U6DCVaG.jpg These shots are seconds apart. Totally different guys playing basketball in each shot.
and definitely on board with the prison/asylum theory. when he was talking to the therapist, and explaining his routine and she asks "why your mom?", i took that immediately as "why are you projecting your mom as (whoever this person is that's taking care of him/watching him)?"
With all the shooting in last week's episode and Elliott's monologue on religion this week, starting to become one of the most controversial shows on TV it seems.
Did anyone notice last week that the "fucks" were flying unedited? Noticed that they were silenced out like normal tonight.
