I recently cut the cord and use all the streaming services but have recently gotten into youtube for entertainment. Was looking for suggestions for good youtube channels to subscribe to Some channels I like: -Vsauce -Big Think -Vice -Casually Explained -Cinefunk(For college football games) -First We Feast -How to Adult -Kurz Gesagt- In a nutshell -Ximo Pierto(for my NBA thread guys. Uploads every basketball video from every site and/or channel. Creates a new channel every few days with the same name to avoid copyrights) Some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head
Good suggestions so far. I'll add - Smarter Every Day - Sci Show - Sci Show Space - Crash Course - Minute Physics - Minute Earth - Primitive Technology I also like watching survival and bushcraft videos. Kind of random, but a few of my faves: - Primitive Technology - MCQ Bushcraft - How to Survive
Have become a huge fan of First We Feast and Hot Ones specifically. There really is some top notch content out there on YouTube amidst all the drivel and dumb shit.
I usually just watch History videos. CGP Grey Crash Course The Great War - awesome series that uploads a video once a week, 100 years to the date about what's happening during WWI that particular week. PragerU
I like Extra Credits' history episodes. Their game design stuff isn't quite my thing but if it were I can see it being pretty great
i subscribe to a few tech channels that put out some good pc-related content techsource pauls hardware awesomesauce network and i also subscribe to gaming historian, which is run by a former coworker of mine. he puts out some awesome documentary style videos on stuff like older consoles like the dreamcast, and other stuff like that.
I've tricked so many people into thinking I can cook thanks to chef John Made his pork Diablo and roast brussel sprouts 2 days ago and it was delicious
If only Bill Wurtz had more videos he'd probably be my fav. In case you have been living under a rock, and somehow missed this video: He came out with a new one last week about the whole world: Also added Alt Shift X and Asian Boss to the OP.
People liked vsauce so much, YouTube gave him his own show on YouTube Red. I didn't even realize this until now, so I'm pumped that I get to watch 2 full seasons for the first time. Show is called Mindfield fwiw.
Doug DeMuro (car reviews) The Food Ranger (street food reviews - China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand) Hope for Paws (dog rescue)
Red Letter Media and Many a True Nerd RLM is the movie critic channel that produced the Plinkett reviews and MATN is a gamer that made possibly my favorite gag play through of all time: Fallout 3: Kill Everything.
I like food ranger but after a while his videos start to feel like he only eats in a 10 mile radius. Been into Strictly Dumpling here lately. Funhaus is probably my favorite channel
Started subscribing to videos for the first time recently. I like a lot of the beginner cooking channels - Brothers Green Eats and Binging with Babish are both good.
