He'll score ten goals in two months then go scoreless for the next three. Just the kind of player he is. It gels with what kind of a team Palace were last season.
Younes Kaboul looks to be headed to Watford. Kind of a shock to Sunderland supporters but apparently his child is sick in a London hospital and he wants to be closer to him/her.
I saw you guys were linked to a loan for miazga which could make sense with kaboul out and Kone possibly looking to move to Everton Sunderland can be THE destination for Americans who go to a big club before they were ready
I think Kone will be staying. No way we let both leave. I'd prefer other options to Miazga because he hasn't proven shit at this level and the US fanbase is one of the most annoying online fanbases I've ever dealt with (sorry guys).
I don't think anyone here should be offended. I think here people have pretty reasonable expectations for the most part but there is a lot of "why isn't this guy starting/playing all the time" any time someone shows any promise so I can definitely see how someone would think that
Actually apparently Kone just rejected a new contract offer so who knows at this point. In other news we signed 34yr old Steven Pienaar to a 1 yr deal.
I'd gladly be the victim of that... lots of reports that we are still looking at RvP on loan. I'd much rather take a flyer on Super Mario.
not sure if JHarris is alive anymore, but Sky Sports Italia is reporting that Inter is in negotiations with Newcastle for Sissoko
Things continue to go swimmingly... @GuillemBalague: Gimenez and Arsenal. Atlético are not worried about him leaving as they know Arsenal will not pay his €65m clause. He will stay
So Arsenal's back up plan for not being able to afford Mustafi is an better and more expensive player? Nice
Wenger will offer 30 and then begrudgingly offer 35 and then make negative comments to the media about teams taking advantage of British teams

McCarthy leaving would be insane. I know he's a Martinez guy but the difference in results in games where he plays and doesn't play has been astounding.
http://thesetpieces.com/features/transfer-window-myth-busting/ I thought this was an interesting article
sport is reporting that paco alcacer to barcelona is a done deal and that jasper cillessen will be presented on friday
FC Barcelona sign goalkeeper @jaspercillessen. More information at https://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/news/2016-2017/jasper-cillessen-joins-fc-barcelona #CillessenFCB
Javier Manquillo to Sunderland and Nabil Bentaleb to Schalke. Both season long loans with options to buy.
Lucas Perez is going to sign with Arsenal. It's rather sobering that Everton lost the battle to sign him to the team that has been constantly in the news for not being able to sign anyone. We are pretty good at helping teams end dry spells.
Sounds like Mustafi is happening too, overpaying for him but that's the market now plus it will make Mesut happy. Really fucking happy with our window if we get those 2.
So, Juventus pretty much has the best squad in Europe, right? I don't think there's a more solid defense... Replacing Pogba with Pjanic, Matuidi, and James Rodriguez. Only legitimate concern is striker with Higuain being the choke artist that he is. Team would be wicked if they could have kept Marotta.
when did Juventus sign James Rodriguez? Even if they add him I would take Barca and Real over Juve but Juve have done an amazing job getting a good value for pogba and then buying some very good players.
His situation is just so perfect for someone of his age with promise. He can learn a lot from Reus and will get to play a decent bit because Reus always gets injured.
Sounded like he wouldn't be staying there this season. Sounded like even if he's not sold that we should expect a loan
I guess a loan wouldn't be crazy since they brought in Schurrle. Sure I'm biased but I think it would be stupid to loan him out. I would want some alternative to Schurrle if/when Reus gets injured to play on the left because he's so inconsistent. Selling him right now would be moronic from a marketing standpoint. If Julian Green hadn't chose to play for the USMNT, Bayern would have dumped him a year ago.
They also signed a young player that plays that position in Emre Mor from Turkey, plus Ousmane Dembele... So there are a lot of names out in front of him at the moment in Dortmund.
This is so minor so I'm essentially just pointing this out for the sake of pointing this out, but despite being a Turk international Emre Mor is from Denmark and played in Denmark.
