Lol. So fucking happy I didn't bother to watch. It is what it is - Kelly gets one more year with a new DC then we are looking for a new coach
How many teams have we given "biggest wins in program history" to? At what point does it finally wear off? This is an average program that recruits well off of historical results.
4 games into the season and i've shifted from angry to sad to laughing hysterically. Bye kelly. Smug fucker.
Real talk this program has fallen slowly apart after Martin and Diaco left I think Kelly has lost his grip on reality- he's surrounded himself with yes men
I am not even upset anymore about things like this. I don't even care; if anything, it was amusing. Probably more sad than getting mad but here we are.
Freddy Kruger ain't walking through that door! Danny Spond the beaver ain't walking through that door.
"Coaching had nothing to do with the outcome today" Actual quote from Brian Kelly following loss to Duke on September 24, 2016.
Not throwing the coaches under the bus at the expense of the players is a Kelly special. Also Kelly now at the final phase of breaking Kizer - putting the entire game on his shoulders and then blaming him when we lose because of a few mistakes.
"The one area I felt better about today was defense. Coaching had nothing to do with the outcome today on defense. I was pleased from that perspective. We put our defense in a bad situation today. They gave our offense a chance to win." - brian kelly
The tackling was WORSE. I didn't think that was possible. No pressure. No coverage. Awful ST. An offense too limp dick and soft to put a shitty opponent away. But yeah, other than that, the coaching was solid.
I'm already doing this with Herman as coach and Jackson as a player. Welcome aboard the individual fanclub.
