skirted it the past four years working at a hospital in a contracted position, certainly won't now that i'm funemployed
it was the tiniest department of large company, an afterthought of an afterthought. the hospital itself obviously made their employees get one, but we were contracted
I get a free vaccine as a first line healthcare provider. People are fucking filthy, i need every protection i can get.
Never gotten a flu shot, also never had the flu. Not sure there's any correlation but I'm not gonna fuck with that track record until it fails.
If you're around new borns or elderly people, it's incredibly selfish and reckless to not get the flu shot.
Yes. I used to not but then I caught a bad case with 104 degree fever and constant vomiting. Sucked real bad.
I got the flu a couple weeks ago. It was the worst I've felt since i got noro a few years ago, and that was the worst I've felt since college. Doc was all "don't even worry about a flu shot, this flu just pushes it out of the way and walks in". Cliffs: we're all gonna die
Have never gotten the flu shot, but got the flu last year and I wanted to die. One night I woke up in the middle of the night and felt so bad/disoriented that I couldn't turn on the light or lift the toilet lid. I was literally like an invalid. I pissed on the floor, shuffled back to bed and passed out. I'm getting the shot this year.
I don't want the flu, but I also don't want autism. Can someone give me ball park odds of catching autism? Below 10%?
Pros for not getting the flu shot: using my 999999 hours of sick days Cons: having the fn flu I'll let some cute chick stab my arm for $25
The strands this year are going to fuck your shit up anyway but I'm required to get the shot for work. I put it off for a few weeks because I always get sick for 2 or 3 days.
Never have gotten one. Though I have no idea why after I got the flew a few years ago, that shit was fucking miserable. Ending up going to the hospital over it.
