Jack Bauer as the president? Hardly...he's the guy that's so disliked in congress that he's always the designated survivor during the state of the union addresses. He is secured in a bunker until the address is finished in case they all get killed at once Well you can figure out what's next What did you think of the first episode?
Just watched the pilot, love it. It was captivating at times. Has strong potential. Hopefully it isn't all downhill from here.
It was decent, but this guy is no Jack Bauer. Was a big pussy, but flipped that switch pretty quick. So maybe there's hope for a few DAMMIT!s
Fuck that general faggot for wanting to go right in to war. That dude needs to be sent out of the room
Yea, I agree with all of you...he dressed down that Iranian diplomat like Jack Bauer was gonna stab his leg. Not real hip on the kids sub plot, hope they keep that to a minimum. The antagonists will be many from the inside so that will make it interesting. 8.0 out of 10.0 for the pilot
Watched it on DVR tonight. Liked it, but I don't trust anything on networks to be developed well. Wish this were on HBO or Showtime.
I think this is a nice 24 addiction dose. White House, kiefer, bombings....potential for MORE bombings... and hinting at an internal mole who is part of it. In what way is this not 24? And in one pilot our secretary over his head already made jack Bauer threats to Iran. Anyway I'm on board. Seems fun.
It took 3 episodes but now I see what this is suppose to be....house of cards lite. I still liked it, but it takes some getting used to the fact that the president is not going to hang a staffer by their pinky toe to get answers
I'm enjoying the show... EP3 wasn't the strongest. Clearly this is a inside job. Curious who is all involved. I would put money on the General being a key figure.
this show has a lot of eye-rolling moments (so did 24...so thats not a knock, i guess it's just a "style") but man i just love the social media updates from the team.
Should have cast Haysbert as the head of the FBI. Maybe the juxtaposition would have been too jarring for people.
Best episode so far. The different plot lines are very interesting to me. Love how he arrested the Michigan governor and fired that idiot general. He's really getting the hang of this president thing
I have no clue how they can stretch this into another season. It will be another Homeland but with worse acting.
There will be more twists and turns, I imagine this season is more about the aftermath and getting the country running again with the hints of the conspiracy. Next season might turn more to the inward conspiracy of who was involved and truely behind the attack.
Yeah never would have thought he'd be doing a show like this and doing it well after watching him on a quest for some White Castle burgers
I thought I read or heard that Kal Penn (Kumar) was out of acting for a few years because he worked in the Obama administration.
