rolled into the back side of the federal supply depot on the left side of the map that was fun. especially when i opened the back door of a raider camp with a legendary staring at me also, ive beginning to look at objects to scrap IRL if apocalypse happens

A ray of sunshine for PS4 users: https://bethesda.net/#en/events/gam...to-ps4-for-skyrim-and-fallout4/2016/10/04/221 Spoiler Mods and 4K Coming to PlayStation 4 for Skyrim and Fallout 4 We’re excited to announce that mod support is coming to PlayStation 4 for both Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4. Additionally, we’ll also be supporting the new PlayStation 4 Pro with both titles. Skyrim will have these features when it launches on October 28. The new power of the PlayStation 4 Pro has allowed us to make Skyrim render in native 4k, and it looks better than ever. Here are some screens to show you just how great it looks. Mod support will come to Skyrim first. We and Sony have worked hard to make this possible. Mods on PlayStation 4 will allow you to modify and create your own content by using our Creation Kit available here. You will not be able to upload external assets with your PlayStation 4 mods, but you will be able to use any assets that come with the game, as most mods do. By creating a Bethesda.net account, you’ll be able to browse and try mods right from within the game. We are excited finally to get modding to our PlayStation fans who have supported us for so long. Modding has been an important part of our games for over 10 years, and we hope to do even more in the coming year for all our players, regardless of platform. After the work is complete on Skyrim, we’ll be updating Fallout 4 for both mods and PS4 Pro. We expect Fallout 4 to take advantage of the PS4 Pro in 4k along with enhanced lighting and graphics features. Thanks again for all your support. We can’t wait to hear about your new adventures.
Jax Teller etc man im like level 29 and i still havent gotten much south of Diamond City, or East of the recon bunker, or south east from the satillite array, and i still am finding new shit in between also deathclaws seem bigger than in FO3 and also scarier, as there is nothing worse than wondering into a neighborhood and seeing one just chillin and turning around and seeing you i maxed out preston, banged piper, and now starting to work up valentine to the point where dogmeat is fixin to lead me out to this kellogg character. i carry 9 weapons (fat man, missile launcher, laser pistol, laser rifle, combat shotgun that i love blowing people's heads off with, a submachine gun, assault rifle, and vats enhanced sniper that is my go to) and have 350 capacity. i think i should cut that down :(
Jesus Christ at the weapon payload Forgot what it was like to carry more than 3-4 because of Survival Mode. As for the "lack" of progress, that's pretty normal...don't think I got to Kellogg until about level 35-40 in my first playthrough.
Eh, I did just about every side quest I could before then...you probably haven't even been to the harbor side of Boston yet.
nope, went up to the skybridge and got scared. but i sent the ship flying back up there so i need to figure it out. i guess i could cut it down to missile launcher, shot gun, laser pistol, assault rifle, and sniper
I just carried an assault rifle, gauss rifle, shotgun, and sniper rifle. Fatman is too heavy so I'd make special trips back to home base if needed. I'm like level 90 after completing all of the story and dlc stuff.
Figuring out your favorite method for murder is always fun, but my ordinance suite is generally determined by my combat oriented perk choices whether that be rifleman, gunslinger, heavy guns etc. With this perk system, if you're not power leveling in some fashion, it's tough to specialize in multiple fields. I have two characters in the upper 90's in level, and it's still been a balancing act deciding which perks I want. The overseers guardian is stupid powerful and fairly easy to aquire early for a rifleman character, same for righteous authority or the deliverer for a pistol or energy weapon character. Even explosives expert can be a good option for light, common, damaging crowd control. Shotguns fall under rifleman and are improved, and I haven't even mentioned commando for automatic weapons if you want to use something like the spray and pray. It's all about how you enjoy playing or what you want the character to be. If you want everything and the kitchen sink available for any situation, have a blast, do you.
and since you've worked a few characters affinity, don't sleep on MacCready's companion perk. It has a quest involved and +20% to head shot accuracy in vats across all weapons is just kinda nice.
omggg i just got on the prydwen and fuck the railroad bunch of pansies, did anyone actually join their asses? just did the memory mission and now im trying to finish up valentine's story with eddie winter because he disliked a lot of my shit i responded to the BoS with... (basically, that yes, the institute deserves to die and i hope they burn in hell). still maybe have ~40% of shit explored and less than that actually flushed out good lord this game is gonna take me forever with the DLCs. as big as the witcher was, this is huge. open up buildings, oh look there is a subway station, oh look, a backyard bunker. the complexity to everything WITHIN the map is what makes it take forever. plus, sometimes i just wanna walk in a direction for a few hours and dick around and i can do that too
It feels like people got turned off by some of the more traditional Fallout elements they eschewed for this and took the game a bit for granted in terms of the breadth of its content.
Destiny has kind of worn me out right now so other than raiding or finishing some quests I'm going to break from it. Will jump back into Fallout (and of course Skyrim :soexcited:)
yeah but they are dbags, granted, i have yet to do a mission for them, but their self righteousness is SJW esque
Deacon makes up for it. And trust me, you want to get some missions done for them ASAP to get a goodie you'll be glad you made the effort for.
I played all of the endings but kept the Railroad save. I always end up being the good guy in video games
yeah i realize just now getting into the factions and the dream sequence, i thought i was pretty far into the quests and needed to make a choice soon. lol nope
Jax Teller Jake Barnes so i was finishing up eddie winter's last tape in quincy and all of a sudden hell broke out. vertbirds landing, about 30 gunners and dudes level 45+ in power armor all fucking blowin shit up, someone has a fat man, someone else has a missile launcher, so on the way into quincy me and some BoS guys are in a building like its the damn alamo. 20 minutes later they are all dead. fucking gunners man my explosive short scoped calibrated powerful assault rifle is amazing. does 15 explosive damage + 70 or so with a hair trigger. and railway guns are cool too
gonna take the castle now. im like level 45 and still havent gotten to the institute. playing on hard
The castle is my spot. Walled it in, have fucking artillary everywhere. No one fucks with the castle.
If you remember what Preston said the first time you meet him, the Gunners took Quincy as a base by driving out the Minutemen. There are a few named Gunners in Power Armor there that you should bring Preston along with you to kill for some affinity.
preston is maxed already, as is piper and now valentine got x01 all tricked out to the mk5 and gave mccready my other power armor and hes been goin around with me for the last few hours of playing. and yeah the named people from the gunners and reading the terminals was good backstory. i take it you get artillery only at the castle or can you use it at other bases as well?
Everywhere. I put artillery at every camp I have enough materials. I just really overdid it at the castle. Too bad swim missed the ammo glitch.
Once you've taken the Castle and completed another quest that pops up a couple days later, you have the ability to build artillery at any of your settlements and call it in from any area within five map squares of where it's built. Comes in handy later when going after tricky entrenched areas.
Speaking of settlement defense, remember that you can always add more building memory to your settlement by dropping all your weapons, then using workshop mode to add them back to the workshop. Did that to build my Castle defense rating up to 348.
This. Swim, true joy in this game is found when you walk up on a small camp of raiders and rain down hellfire from a battery of artillery on them.
I used the ammo glitch a ton when it was there and have more fusion cores than I'll ever use. Constantly walking around in power armor with my tricked out assault rifle, a sniper rifle, shotgun, and a fatboy.
Spoiler Apparently there's a Chinese sub somewhere out in the bay with a ghoulified Chinese captain who wants you to do shit for him, then he'll help you by launching one of his nukes at a spot on the map.
IV Jake Barnes Jax Teller rollin with the BoS and built my do hickey thing (quite easily, i have way too many resources, and its easy to spam 10k worth of caps making jet and what not and selling it since i have fuck tons of fertilizer and plastic) anyways. its pretty badass to build that transporter thing. got paladin danse with me with 3 different legendary shot guns and plasma guns, i have maxed out t01 power armor and all legendary weapons i guess i'm gettin close to endgame right? only have like 6 more side quests that are all radiant. cant do any more faction stuff since i guess its waiting on this mission. is the $50 worth it for the season pass... leaning towards no... cant finish this until next week so i didnt go through with the mission yet didnt wanna ruin it ready to get to titanfall and cod
Don't spend 50 bucks on the dlc. It's good but not worth that. Bet they have some kind of holiday discount that might be worth taking a look at
