just saw a brief discussion on our team board about Inside Out being a must-see for people with a soul. what else have I missed out on. have only seen: Toy Storys, Nemo, Incredibles
Inside Out is easily the most creative movie Pixar has ever put out. It will hit you in ALL the feels.
Inside Out is my favorite Pixar movie. Good Dinosaur is going to be horrible with them firing everyone involved a few months ago.
Saw The Good Dinosaur this weekend and liked it much better than Inside Out. I just don't get the fanaticism over Inside Out. I've seen it three times and it's never lived up to the acclaim it receives here.
I also saw Inside Out and it does hit you in the feels but I wasn't blow away like I expected. Probably had expectations to high going into watching it.
The Good Dinosaur bothers me because the dinosaurs look horrible at least Land Before Time made it seem reasonable enough
still need to see the good dino. and obviously no one else can tell you what movie you should like more, but i just wanted to point out that it's not just here that inside out was praised. it's universally praised http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/inside_out_2015/
That's true. But then there's this... So, yeah, I'd say the acclaim it receives here is maybe a little excessive.
Sanjay's Super Team was way better than Lava, too, so even the short for The Good Dinosaur was better than the short for Inside Out.
Lol yes the person who thinks Inside Out is a more creative movie than Toy Story has the right to bash my opinions. What a time to be alive.
Well that's good. I'm not super excited about this one, but will definitely check it out at some point for sure
With my kid at dentist and Peter Pan is playing in the lobby...holy fucking balls, this movie is so fucking racist
Finding Dory: A powerful indictment of society's failure to adequately care for the mentally ill. http://www.theonion.com/video/onion-reviews-finding-dory-53103
Just got out. Very, very good...but talk of it being better than Nemo is crazy. Dominic West and Idris Elba play best friends, which I loved.
A lot better than I was expecting mainly because I thought an entire movie with Dory as the lead would be tough to pull off. The climax was way over the top but everything dealing with Dory's struggle was great. The sea lions were the best additions to this movie. I saw it broke the Thursday night opening record ($9.2 million) for an animated movie and is projected to break the opening weekend record which probably means Pixar will keep riding the sequel train.
You thought the climax was over the top???!?!?!? Spoiler Guess you've never seen an octopus drive a truck before
Just thought it was such weird way to market the movie that it made me laugh. A dark and gritty reboot for the Cars franchise.
Rotten Tomatoes Score Toy Story 100% Toy Story 2 100% Finding Nemo 99% Toy Story 3 99% Up 98% Inside Out 98% The Incredibles 97% Monsters, Inc. 96% Ratatouille 96% WALL-E 96% Finding Dory 94% A Bug's Life 92% Brave 78% Monsters University 78% The Good Dinosaur 77% Cars 74% Cars 2 39% Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make another?!?
so Pixar is selling out now. That's nice. if you are going to do that, at least break your habit of 1 movie/year, cause this is a year off for 90% of your fans.
