when you said "throws down ridiculous dunks" did you really mean "dribbles wildly into the lane and flops"?
this. Suspended indefinitely is such a con. It sounds long term, but all it really means is suspended until the coach feels like playing him again. Half the time the player never misses more than a game or 2
I was more talking in an overall sense. It gets used all the time when a player does something stupid only for the actual suspension to be almost nothing once the media has moved on to the next story
He's arguably the best college basketball coach of all time. He's basically Saban of the NCAABB world. I think its easy to understand why everyone sucks him off. He is the current godfather. Do I agree with it? Meh. His resumé speaks for itself though.
There's also his blatant hypocrisy, he claimed there was a double standard for refs back when Dean Smith was at UNC and that if he ever acted like Smith one of his assistants should "shoot him."
Being an all time great coach doesn't give you the right to walk up to an opposing teams player, point your finger at him, and scold him like he's your 10 yr old son. Not only is it unprofessional, but it is blatant undermining of an opposing teams coach. I don't care if K was Jesus Christ himself, it doesn't give you the right to disrespect and reprimand an opposing teams coach and player. He's basically telling the coach he doesn't know how to do his job. Get the fuck over yourself.
Bet this little fuck also tripped players in high school. This seems to be his go-to move. Unless, of course, he learned it at Duke.
Exactly this, which is why him telling everyone that he is only one who knows how to handle this situation is so rich.
The best thing about the entire post game presser was how he talked about the Queers passion getting the best of him, uses the word I what seems like a zillion times talking about he's the judge, jury and executioner. He's such a megalomaniac.
Can we please put by far the worst most annoying buttfucking backcourt in the history of CBB in Wojo/Collins in the thread title? That would make me extremely happy.
excusing it as a mistake annoys me and I wish DP would have called him on it. it's not like he thought he was allowed to trip people needed to be corrected. or was attempting to just play defense and the trip was an accident. he decided to trip people on three separate occasions. asking how he would explain that behavior was a perfectly reasonable question.
Never said it was. You stated you never "understood the universal love" and "why pros love him and NCAA sucks him off" and I answered that question. I have zero response to this statement nor will I defend those actions.
Taco I wasn't coming at you at all. I agree with your "reasoning" It still doesn't make it right.. It wasn't directed at you with any negative intent.
Coach K's ego and condescension are 2nd to none. What a fucking dick. I hope he has a JoePa level fall from grace.
This kid will end up flaking out of NBA, try playing in Europe, then he'll try being an artist in Detroit where he'll land an E:60 interview where we find out in addition to his Donald Duck paintings he also smokes a lot of crack cocaine.
Agree with this. He made weird faces, but that was about it. I thought Paulus was the much more hateable player on those Duke teams.
Most hateable Duke players 1. Bobby Hurley 2. Christian Laettner 3. JJ Redick 4. Cherokee Parks 5. Shane Battier Grayson Allen will push Battier out of the top 5.
Green jacket gold jacket. I first remember Wojo doing it, so I'm going with it. Facts don't matter in Trump's America.
I truly don't think Grayson Allen consciously meant to do it. I think he's just a shitty kid with shitty reflexes (meaning asshole tendencies, not poor reflexes) whose automatic reaction is to be a punk. Not sure how you break that habit.
I don't want to watch any of those interviews when he speaks, I just want to always picture Grayson Allan sounding just like Joffrey
