He was suspended from twitter today for harassing an editor from Teen Vogue.... http://money.cnn.com/2017/01/08/tec...ter/index.html0842PMStoryLink&linkId=33146999
1) why is there a thing called "Teen Vogue"? 2) why is this chode harassing someone that works there?
This dude sucks but him getting kicked off twitter for a photoshop of his face on her husbands face is a joke.
oddly enough, Teen Vogue has had maybe the best coverage of the shitshow that is the ever evolving Trump presidency.
And if that's against their rules then I'm sure a lot of the other stuff that is said on there is too. The % of people banned for breaking their rules is very tiny. If Twitter banned every account that made a photoshop they'd have banned hundreds of thousands of accounts.
I stand by my statement. People have been "harassed" far worse on Twitter. They let far worse go. What he posted is a 1 on a 1-10 Twitter trolling scale.
Terms of use that they arbitrarily enforce. That's why him being banned when others regularly do much worse is a joke.
Do you think there's some dude at twitter reading every tweet posted seeing if people are violating terms of use or something?
I'm not sure when or why we all got so comfortable with trolling and harassment but good for Twitter.
No but offensive tweets make the news regularly and nothing is done. I mean good lord he posted a photoshop with his face on her husbands and asked her to go to the inauguration with him. There's no chance they ban some random guy that does the same to Kim Kardashian.
hey guys maybe this got enforced because its someone with a big following going after someone with a big following so it likely got reported hundreds of times twitter egg vs deplorable dandy trolling each other or random internet troll throwing their poop at Bieber may not make the noise to get enforced
No shit dumbass someone with notoriety and who has had issues with twitter before doesn't get as much leeway
Nobody is saying 100% of the time but they rarely do it. This is the .00000000001% and it's only bc of who he is.
It's almost like a tweet by It's almost like a tweet from a guy with hundreds of thousands twitter followers is more visible than a random profile with an egg as the profile pic.
Thousands of racist attacks have made news articles and those accounts weren't banned. It's not bc it was more visible, it's bc of who he is and people don't like him.
No, I think it should be enforced more. I think it's a joke that much worse gets ignored yet they arbitrarily enforce it when it's someone people know and don't like. I don't think rules should be enforced based on who did something.
In a perfect world. his account being banned would be business as usual. Unfortunately it's not. It's a case of them picking and choosing when to enforce a rule.
You have no idea who gets banned and who doesn't. Shitloads of other people are every day, you are just only hearing about it because it is a celebrity.
If this guy can post this racist shit and stay, then a photoshop of one's head on another shouldn't get someone banned.
While that's an awful picture, I'm not sure that's actually harassment. He wasn't contacting FLOTUS. Additionally, the photoshop wasn't the only thing that Shkreli did. It's a dumb position to take that since Twitter hasn't removed all objectionable material, that they shouldn't remove any.
